4 Cyphia Close Cabins
Description
The Reservoir Pod is a unique, 5.5 x 4-metre micro wooden cabin built from solid reclaimed pine. It is black-charred on the outside, has a corrugated roof and boasts folding doors that open up to an outdoor deck. This open-plan pod can accommodate up to 2 guests and is furnished with a queen-size bed. Space has been created to accommodate shoes, coats, hats and keys. The unit features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a rustic, homemade concrete basin, and a toilet. This unit has a tiny kitchenette that contains a bar fridge, a 2-plate gas stove, a microwave, a sink, basic cooking utensils, a shelf, counter space, and a storage cupboard. There is a dedicated work-from-home area, as well as a mini wood-burning closed combustion fireplace. The lounge area leads out onto a deck that offers a gorgeous view of the sea and a rustic table and chairs. The fire pit area in front of the pod is available to pod guests, but not the rest of the garden or eco-pool. The unit is set atop the property's water reservoir. More than 2 guests can not be accommodated in this cabin and strictly no children.

House Rules
The eco pool is a natural rock pool with no fencing and no cover. The Fynbos Pod is up a short hill with uneven rock steps and the deck has unprotected sides with drop-offs of around 1 m on some sides. The is also a sharp drop-off out of the sliding windows, which has a balustrade. The Reservoir Pod’s deck is open to nature and has a drop of just over 1m into some very uncomfortable bushes and branches. The cabins are not suitable for children under 10 or anyone under the influence of alcohol or any other substances.
The space is expected to be left in a relatively neat and tidy state. It is not necessary to clean dishes on the last day but be aware and considerate as we often have guests checking in later the same day.

Description
The Fynbos Pod is a unique, architect-designed, wooden pod with magnificent outdoor spaces. This 8 x 3-metre wooden cabin is perched on a hill of fynbos with 270-degree views of the incredible Chapman’s Peak mountains. It comprises 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with twin mattresses to create a king-size bed, and the bathroom contains a uniquely-tiled shower, a stone basin atop a purpose-built wooden pedestal, and a toilet. The kitchenette boasts beautiful, locally-crafted wooden counters and shelving, as well as a rustic concrete basin home-made from the sand outside. The kitchenette is equipped with crockery, cutlery, a 2-plate gas stove, a fridge, a microwave, as well as a pantry cupboard that hides away any clutter, groceries, cleaning items, and internet access points. The lounge area has a mini wood-burning closed combustion fireplace, and leads out onto a private deck that boasts an outside shower, a wood-fired outdoor bath, rustic table and chairs, and Weber braai. One parking bay is available.

This double-storey cabin can accommodate up to 6 adults across 2 en-suite bedrooms and a mezzanine loft area. The downstairs bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed, and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The upstairs bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed, and also features an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The upstairs area also has an open mezzanine area with a dedicated office space and 2 single beds in a bunk bed style. These beds would share the upstairs bathroom and are best suited to children. This cabin is primarily the owners' day-to-day residence and is fully equipped. Sentinel guests have access to the entire cabin, the deck, the eco pool, and the garden seating area, as well as to a parking bay.
