5 Oceantide is 'n baie mooi woonstel met slaapplek vir 2 volwassenes. Dit is loopafstand vanaf die see en promenade. Daar is 'n oorvloed van eetplekke in die omgewing. Die woonstel was silwerskoon. We would like to thank Deirdré, manager of 5 Oceantide, for her professional service and for helping us arrange our stay and feel welcome at 5 Oceantide. 5 Oceantide is a quaint apartment, and is reminiscent of a little Italian or Parisian villa. Rejuvenate your soul and senses in this ornate studio apartment, where you will be surrounded by many thoughtful embellishments such as the beautiful Alessandro Papetti-style painting above the sofa. The foyer of the building features some Greek-inspired sculptures and luxurious couches for the weary traveller, and we were welcomed by a beautiful cat -resting in the sun like an Egyptian Sphinx - at the entrance. The bathroom has the best shower I have ever experienced in an apartment, and the apartment offers aircon to keep you cool and refreshed after a long day at the beach. Bask in the comforting sun on the balcony while you plan your next book / art work / business project. Rest on the luxurious queen-sized bed while you wait for your Italian pasta to boil in the kitchen. Candles are provided to enhance the romantic experience. Buy ice cream around the corner at the Milky Lane and eat it as you stroll along the Promenade with its picturesque view of the ocean and sunset. Tranquillity is the main feature of Oceantide 5, and I can imagine great poets and artists such as the late Ingrid Jonker or André P. Brink finding inspiration in this creative spa for the soul.
