Charming and well-located flat.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit has a few oddly-placed outlets (none in the main bedroom) and the light fixtures in the living room are exactly at head-dinging height. But overall, it's lovely. It's right on the bay. You can hear the roar of the ocean from all the windows. And there are shops within walking distance.

Perfect for a young family.

The pictures didn't do the place justice. It's a charming seaside chic meets rustic. There's even a reading nook that each of us used during our stay. We loved it! The only con: super steep stairs - not recommended for anyone with a movement impediment. Luckily, we're still spry.

Enjoy time spent with family.

Unit very basic. Not worth the amount of money I spend on accommodation.

Ons het van die begin probleme gehad, kon nie by die hek inkom nie, want die remote het nie gewerk nie.

Die plek het nie 'n mop of opwaslappie gehad nie. Daar was 'n handdoek kort. Op dag 2 het die DSTV opgehou werk.

Lekker by die see.

Die ligging van die eenheid is perfek vir 'n see wegbreek. Jy sien en hoor die see en eetplekkke en winkels is loop-afstand. Die wasbak in die kombuis is vreemd, klein en baie diep, maar die eenheid het als wat mens nodig het vir ń lekker wegbreek. Ons het baie lekker gekuier en die DSTV was ń bonus op die reënerige dae.

So close to the beach.

Really enjoyed the stay, the unit is all you need and super close to the beach. Would have loved an extra fan and possibly a cover for the patio but the place was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Not at all what was displayed on the pictures or property description.

This accommodation was advertised as three bedrooms, but was only two. A cot hanging over the stairs does not count as a bedroom or a loft. The photos of the property on website give the illusion that this is a ground floor unit with sliding doors opening onto a lawn, however the doors actually open to nothing, as this is not a ground floor unit. The braai area displayed on the website appears to look out over the sea, not people through banana leaves. The braai area also has an unsafe gap in the wall where a person could slip through and fall into the courtyard of the unit below. The beach-way gate is incorrectly wired and electrocutes you each time you use the key to open it. There are no mirrors above the basin in the bathroom, which is necessary for most men to shave with, and for women to get ready. You have a choice of leaning over the toilet or bath to see what you are doing to your face. The least expected of a unit for hire would be plastic bags bags in the dustbins and more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for a stay longer than a weekend. Maintenance obviously is not a priority here seeing that plaster falls off and crumbles off of the walls, showing exposed brick walls in the garage area. Most of the keyholes are rusted and you battle to fit your keys in to lock and unlock doors. We left a day early because we really did not have a pleasant stay here, whatsoever. This unit is not worth the money we paid for this. We will definitely not recommend this agency, or the establishment to anyone, if anything we will warn them against you. The only good thing about this unit is that is was mostly clean.

Not great!

Not worth the money! The place is tiny and really old. It needs major upgrades as paint is peeling off the walls. The bathroom with a shower is so small you can barely get into the bathroom and close the door. The other bathroom with the bath had no bath plug! Living on Ballito's board walk would be better!

Glad nie waarde vir geld nie.

Buiten vir die woonstel wat darem tenminste skoon was, kan ek nie veel positief verder sê nie. Het duur betaal vir karige gerief. Daar is nie kombuiskaste in die kombuis om jou goedere in weg te pak nie. Die wasbak waarin jy moet skottelgoed was, is net so vierkantige aluminium diep gat, waarin jy amper nie eers kan bykom nie. Daar is die minimum kombuisware om te gebruik. Die yskas is regtig te klein vir 'n gesin van 5 se behoeftes. Die badkamers kort opgradering. Die braai kort aandag. Daar is geen solder kamer soos genoem nie. Die 5de bed is slegs 'n ingedrukte bed langs die trappe, en groter kinders en volwassenes kan glad nie daar slaap nie. 'n Basiese skoonmaakdiens elke dag is ook 'n sterk aanbeveling. 'n Groter voertuig pas glad nie in die motorhuis nie. Ek het vir seker in beter toegeruste verblyf in die verlede al gebly in Ballito op die hoofstrand teen 'n laer tarief. Die tarief wat jy vir hierdie verblyf betaal, regverdig beslis opgradering!

Badkamers en braaiarea kort aandag, maar die res was fantasties.
