It was good.

Our stay was comfortable and our host was very accommodating, assisting us on very short notice.

The room was absolutely disappointing. I enjoyed the walk along the beach.

The hospitality was excellent! I have to be honest and say I was disappointed with the room. It was very small, the bed was not comfortable, the bedding and pillows were old, and it was not clean. The room also had a smell; an old pillow and duvet inner was not neatly folded in the cupboard. A breakage deposit of R500 was charged, which made no sense, as there were only 2 cups and 2 plates to use. I have seen better, and no breakage deposit was charged.

A Budget Beach Unit 's response

This room is advertised as a 'Budget' room netting R206 per person for the Guest House. Bedding is always laundered, and fresh lavender from the garden is placed in the room. Admittedly, the spare pillow and duvet had not been folded neatly in the cupboard; apologies for this. The breakage deposit is a standard fee; however, we do take note of your comment. Overall, thank you for your comments, although a little disappointed.

Good stay.

The place is well situated, close to shops and the beach. Transportation is accessible.
