Ons het baie lekker gebly. Plek is regtig baie mooi en rustig. Sal beslis weer wil terugkom.

Wat 'n aangename gastehuis! Modern, skoon, ruim en netjies met al die nodige bykomstighede. Melani was 'n uitstekende gasvrou!

Luxurious and peaceful!

This is a beautifully 5-star place with a 5-star view! We only stayed for one night but were received with a warm welcome. The place was clean, had beautiful views of the mountain, and the aircon was a bonus. Thank you. We will definitely spread the word, and we will be back!

Comfortable, beautiful calm location.

Beautiful location, friendly reception, clean and neat room and venue. Garden beautifully landscaped. Furniture and bedding, including towels, are comfortable.

Most tranquil place I have been to.

From the start of our stay, we felt a warm welcome. Melanie made us feel at home from the get-go. Up until we came home, she checked up to make sure we arrived safely in Cape Town. If you need alone time or even with your partner, this place will be the best choice. Restaurants are all nearby. I always drove past Swellendam but never stayed over. How I wish I had found this beautiful town long ago. The place itself is far more beautiful than the pictures on the web. The unit is modern.

Fantastiese plekkie in 'n baie stil en veilige deel van Swellendam. Stapafstand van oulike restaurante. Melani is vriendelik - die diens was puik. Rosy het ons ontvang en ons dadelik tuis laat voel. Sal elke keer hier wil kom bly as mens Swellendam toe gaan! Die natuurskoon is asemrowend.

Riverbed was one of these most tranquil places we've been too!

Ongelooflike ligging met pragtige natuurskoon. Die kamer is goed toegerus, netjies, skoon en het aan ons verwagtinge volddoen.

Goed ontvang deur die gasvrou/eienaar. Die kamer se uitleg is goed en voldoen aan alle vereistes met TV, WiFi, ens. Baie mooi tuin en natuurskoon. Die Stilte was heerlik. Gasvrou het ons met alle verwante inligting voorsien.

It is good but overpriced.

Location is great. Kitchen well equiped but only 1 chair in the room. . No table for sharing breakfast on. No waste bin in the room. No bath mats on the bathroom floor (very cold). Room.

Very relaxing and quiet.

We stayed a total of 5 wonderful nights. It was nice waking up every morning to the sound of the river right next to the house! Everything was very modern and clean, we had no issues with anything. The lady in reception was very friendly and recommended a lot of nice places for us to visit. The guesthouse is very close to all of the good restaurants and shops in the area which was quite convenient! I would definitely book again!

King-size bed, crisp white linen. New, spacious shower. 3 Boxes I always look for, all ticked! Not to mention access to nature from the property. Cute town with hidden gems. Well worth a longer stay in summer.

This place is serene, the studios are bright and beautifully decorated, super clean and has restaurants and coffee places within walking distance. Melani is the perfect host who will make you feel right at home during your stay here. Definitely recommend this place!

The receptionist received us with lots of love and excitement. It felt homey. The service was excellent. The staff are very friendly.

This place is ideal for a getaway, very peaceful. Beautiful scenery. Room service is great and all facilities are in place. You don't need to worry about a thing. These people know how to treat and take care if their guests. We will definitely be back soon. Most favourite places by far!

Die baie goed-toegeruste en gerieflike verblyf, die pragtige omgewing en die gemaklike en vriendelike gasvrou het aangename en blywende herinneringe help skep. Ons sal vir seker weer en weer en weer by Riverbed Guesthouse aanklop.

Ons eerste kuiertjie saam en dit was die beste.

Die plekkie is geleë in die perfekte stukkie area, met 'n riviertjie en wandel roete aan die kant. Ons was baie beïndruk met ons kamer en die geriewe wat daarmee gepaard gaan, ons is egter spyt ons het nie vroeër alreeds ingeklok nie asook om later uit te klok nie. Ons sal enige tyd weer A River Bed Guesthouse in die toekoms bespreek.

Beste waarde vir geld

Dit is ons tweede keer by A Riverbed Guesthouse en dit was net so ongelooflik soos die eerste keer! Beste waarde vir geld en die regte plek om rus!

Perfect stay in lovely village.

The accommodation and setting in Swellendam was even better than it looked on the pictures. Close to restaurants and museums, but peaceful. Melani (and Luka the Great Dane) were perfect hosts. Looking for an excuse to stay there again.

These new, modern suites are private and cosy, and well-equipped with quality furniture and appliances. The hostess, Melani, complements this wonderful setting with her professional, efficient and friendly manner. Her special touch is evident in the design and layout of the suites and the carefully handpicked accessories. The perfect breakaway for couples who enjoy seclusion and a spectacular mountain view, whilst being within walking distance to the centre of town.

Die gastehuis is baie modern met al die nodige bykomstighede. Die ontbyt wat in jou kamer geniet kan word, is uit die boonste rakke. Melani is 'n baie goeie gasvrou en moes vroeg die oggend op wees om 'n klomp fietsryers wat aan 'n wedren deelgeneem het, te groet.
