Baie goeie waarde vir geld. Die kamer was ruim en die bed was baie gemaklik. Die stort het goeie waterdruk gehad. Die ontbyt was smaaklik, ek het nie sulke spesiale ete verwag vir die prys wat ek betaal het nie. Die eienaar was gaaf en professioneel.

Acorn Cottage is perfek vir 'n wegbreek uit die stad. Dit is gerieflk geleë naby aan al die besienswaardighede in Grahamstown. Netta en Rob was baie gasvry en die ontbyt was fantasties! Ons het baie tuis gevoel en sal beslis weer daar bly.

Was pleasantly surprised by a breakfast that we did not expect.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The place is quiet, clean and close to shopping areas.

The swimming pool area is not as clean as it appears in the advertisement pictures.

I stayed 3 nights at Acorn Cottage BnB, rooms were very nice with a huge pool just outside our room which was perfect for the heat. Breakfast served was great and Robs hospitality topped it off.

Rob and Neta are very experienced in catering and the hotel/accommodation industry. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-decorated. They provide a relaxed, family atmosphere, are incredibly helpful, and cook a delicious breakfast. Rob braaied for us and made everything look effortless! Our daughter had some friends for her birthday and what an amazing time these girls had! A memory for life!

Ons het baie lekker in die baie ruim kamer gebly wat alle gewensde geriewe gehad het. Ons motor was ook veilig agter 'n hek geparkeer. Hou van die ontspanne atmosfeer van Acorn Cottage en vriendelike diens.

Baie vriendelik en gasvry. Baie lekker ontbyt. Ons het in 'n ander kamer as bespreek geslaap wat ons eie keuse was. Enigste negatief was dat ons naastenby 45 minute geneem om die eienaar in die hande te kry om toegang te verkry.

Plek was nie baie netjies en skoon nie.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, the food was good, the hosts were great. Its the best B&B I've ever stayed at. The host was lovely and helpful. It's secure and feels very safe. The other rooms in the house were clean and comfortable. The pool is welcomingly refreshing in the morning. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Dit was weereens 'n besonderse kuier. Verblyf was baie gerieflik en ruim. Die ontbyt uitstekende waarde vir geld en die gasheer is super akkommoderend en vriendelik.

Beslis my eerste keuse verblyf in Grahamstown.

The owner of the house was very charming and welcoming. The room was adequate for my needs, and I enjoyed sitting in the enclosed veranda. I was able to park my car in a huge yard and I felt very safe during my stay there. The breakfast was delicious and on the whole it was a great place.

Rob is die ideale gasheer en laat jou dadelik voel soos 'n lid van die huishouding. Ons het tot laat aand gesels en gelag oor al die staaltjies.

A comfortable and pleasant stay.

The hosts are pleasant company, a large delicious breakfast was served, comfortable beds with electric blankets were provided and in the lounge there is interesting decor. The place also provides quiet surroundings.

Baie netjiese kothuis met alles wat nodig is.

Dis 'n netjiese selfsorgkothuis met alles wat mens nodig het. Daar is WiFi, parkering, TV, tafel, gratis tee en koffie, handdoeke en seep! Gasvrou baie vriendelik en help graag. Lekker elektriese komberse vir die winteraande en warm water om te stort. Alles in die dorp self is binne loopafstand, maar dit vat 'n goeie 20 min se stap om by Rhodes uit te kom, daarvoor is 'n motor nuttig.

Despite the gentle and kindness of the owner the place would need substantial renewal.

The shower needs a thorough scrub. Please don't place a bathroom mat by the toilet ... unhygienic. The bedroom was clean but the bedcovers, curtains and light shade are very old fashioned. A duvet is preferable. The bedroom is large but does not have a chair. The only place to sit is on a bed. Block out lining necessary on the roman blind at the door and the outside light kept me awake. The property requires major maintenance.

Although clean and neat the cottage is a converted garage lacking style and finesse and over priced for the service rendered.

Very unpleasant stay.

No TV, no complementary coffee in the room. The room was not welcoming at all. The pillows did not have pillow cases. Awful to say the least. The gate is manually locked. It was raining and I had to get out of my car and unlock the gate padlock. If I had know they didn't have TV I wouldn't have booked it considering I was travelling alone and I don't know anyone in the area. It was not good value for money. I would not recommend this place at all.
