It is a place I cannot get enough of visiting!

A very good place. Seeing animals walking around was very interesting. Stoves, TV, and water work without electricity, so no need to worry about load shedding. WiFi works perfectly. The house is clean. We got updates of temperature, load shedding, and what you need to be careful of. I thank you guys a lot. Keep up the good work.

This place is amazing. The pictures online do not do it justice. It’s very beautiful and the hosts are amazing.

We enjoyed the stay, although we were not prepared for the heat. The house was excellent with all amenities.

Lovely place did have a few issues.

On final payments, owner requested an additional deposit, would have liked to know upfront. On arrival owner did not send an email for key collection we had to wait 1 hour. Big power problem at the house power comes off and on the whole time different areas on sometimes, dimmed lights. Other than that very nice place.

The only amount that will be charged as a deposit is the amount that is specified in LekkeSlaap and it is clearly visible before booking. This amount will only be blocked during the stay, but not charged, and it will be released immediately after the stay.

The Key Collection Protocol is automatically sent to Field Security, the key issuing authority, via our software. Any failure on our side is excluded here. In this specific case, Field Security made a mistake. This is the first mistake they've made in 10 years, which will certainly not be repeated. We would like to apologise again for the inconvenience caused.

Even if the house has a backup power system, it is still affected by load shedding. Only the South African government can change this planned power outage. In the event of a power outage, some light bulbs automatically reduce their brightness. However, systems such as the TV, internet, hot water, or the stove are not affected by load shedding.
