AfriCamps at Karoo 1 offers a unique boutique glamping experience located in the heart of the Hex River Valley, known as the gateway between the Cape and the Great Karoo, making this ideal for a memorable holiday with family and friends.

This camp offers guests a choice of 13 lovely tents and each tent has a capacity of 5 guests at a time. Each structured tent comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and a private bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a tri-bunk bed. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living space features a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Additionally, there is a dining table and a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace. The tent opens up onto a covered patio with outdoor seating, braai facilities as well as a wood-burning hot tub.

The property offers guests hiking trails, mountain biking trails, swimming in the rock pool, rock climbing and is only a 15-minute drive away from the renowned Aquila Private Game Reserve. Additionally, there is a restaurant, bar, boma, communal swimming pool, and kids play area on the premises.
