Aha Lesedi Lodge

Satisfied. I booked a triple room in Xhosa. We landed up in a Zulu hut with 1 bed.

It was what was described. I felt the dinner for R230 per person a bit overpriced as there was a very limited selection of wild meat (tortoise, crocodile). Perhaps there could have been some chicken pieces for those that don't eat wild meat.

The best hotel I have been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous buildings,really makes you appreciate African architecture and the fact that our ancestors were really creative. And it gets more breathtaking when you walk inside the rooms. Wow! Their breakfast and dinner is mouth-watering. I will go back again. I loved everything about the place.

Baie baie goed.

Alles was wonderlik en die mense het dit baie geniet.

Ongelooflik.

Die tweede keer dat ons daar was. Mense is vriendelik, behulpsaam, net 'n ongelooflike plek om uit te span. Kamer is verskriklik mooid. Heerlike ontbyt gehad. Geen probleem met ons of motor se veiligheid gehad nie. Wagte beweeg rond in die aand. Baie dankie, sal definitief weer gaan.

Dit het ons verwagtinge oorskry.

Ons het 5-ster diens ontvang. Die kamer was asemrowend. Die kos uit die boonste rakke. Die personeel eerbiedig en hulpvaardig. Die dekor vanaf die ontvangs tot by die restaurant is prentjie mooi. Baie dankie aan almal wat hierdie 'n fantastiese huweliksherdenking gemaak het.

Wonderlike ervaring gewees.

Het bietjie meer verwag in die kamers. Geen warm water gehad om te stort nie ons voel dat personeel vooraf moet sorg dat alles in werkende toestand is. Sal definitief weer besoek. Die vertoning was uitstekend.

Mediocre.

Ontvangs relatief vriendelik. Op aankoms het ons iemand gehad wat met ons bagasie gehelp het, maar nie op vertrek nie. Die kamer was bedompig alhoewel daar 'n waaier in was, kon nie venster oopmaak nie, geen diefwering of goggagaas. Aandete (R220pp) was ook 'n teleurstelling, maar ontbyt was relatief goed. Kos word te vroeg uitgepak wat beteken warm geregte (malvapoeding ens.) en kaas en ham (ontbyt) was uitgedroog en opgekrul.

Baie netjies, gasvry en etes is 5 ster!

Van ons aankoms tot ons uitboek was alles van top gehalte! Definitief 'n aanbeveling vir enige Suid-Afrikaner of uitlander. Keep it up!

What an amazing way to spend our 1st wedding anniversary at Lesedi! Wow, wow, wow, everyone is friendly and helpful. Food to die for! Ate like a king! Definitely going back to stay in the other camps as well.

Superb accommodation.

The quality of the accommodation was awesome.

It's a nice place in general.

We really needed a fridge in the room as we had to drink warm water. Tour guide not a friendly guy, you need to smile when you work with people. I loved the placed and shopped at the market even some of the things are very pricey.

Beautiful place to de-stress.

The environment was perfect, surrounded by bushes,sounds of birds and so relaxing. Dancers entertained guests at scheduled times and their performance was outstanding, really enjoyed that, it was really beautiful. The only negative was that Lesedi did my booking for 1 instead of 2, the room only had a shower instead of shower and bath in one as promised, we didn't have sufficient light as the main light in room 3 wasn't working, we listened to the sound of a leaking tap from the shower throughout the night instead of resting as planned and these are the things I need Lesedi to look at and get them in order. I would recommend it to friends and family and probably go back again myself. The kitchen staff in general were superb,very friendly, available and of great assistance. We also enjoyed the food a lot. If they could also try and constantly keep just a full jug of water with lots of ice on standby because we kept asking for water. The water in the area is salty and doesn't easily quench a thirst, so you would drink more than usual, it tastes better when very cold though, but there's a bar next door that sells water as well which came in handy and was convenient. In general, we enjoyed Lesedi and it was a good experience.

Beautiful place that still needs a bit of work.

The place is attractive with the cultural decor and activities. Cleanliness of the place is lacking and needs more work.
