Pleasant stay. Comfortable and clean. One roll of toilet paper should come standard.

We were only informed about key pick up after we arrived, so we had to go driving back to Engen to source the key. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, so I had to go driving around town looking for toilet paper while my wife sat patiently on the loo waiting for my return. Toilet paper should be readily available. Also, the geyser wasn't switched on, so we all had a cold shower on arrival. I suggest that having toilet paper and the geyser on would be a more positive welcome after a long drive. The location is excellent. The unit was pleasant and comfortable. I was sure that WiFi was offered, but was told there was no WiFi. DStv was disconnected on day 3.

We can only apologise about the key and the toilet paper, we fully agree that a couple of rolls of toilet paper should be a standard. It was not our intention to not provide this. To other guests, this is our holiday home, so key collection at the Engen garage up the road is how we hand over the keys. We do request that the geyser be switched on before guest arrival. This task is usually taken care of by the cleaning services we employ - apologies that this was not done. WiFi and DSTV is available upon request, we now also specify this in the ad.
