AppleBee Guest Cottages in Grahamstown/Makhanda are conveniently located near St Andrew’s Prep, DSG, Amazwi South African Museum of Literature, and Rhodes University.
Accommodation comprises 4 units, suited to accommodate up to 12 guests. The units on offer include AppleBee I, AppleBee Il, AppleBee III, and The Annex.
AppleBee I comes equipped with 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 5 guests. Bedroom 1 features a queen-size bed and bedroom 2 features 2 single beds with a single sleeper couch in the lounge area. Both rooms share a bathroom which comes fitted with a shower, bath, basin and toilet. Other amenities include a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, microwave and fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is a dining area and a lounge with 2 FHD TVs with a full selection of DStv channels, Netflix and Wi-Fi.
AppleBee II can accommodate 3 guests and is furnished with king-size/twin beds and a single bed. The en-suite bathroom comes fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Other facilities include a lounge, kitchen with a fridge, a microwave, gas hob with pots and pans, tea- and coffee-making facilities, 2 FHD TVs with a full selection of DStv channels, Netflix and Wi-Fi.
AppleBee III is a bright space with a garden and pool view. It has a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed or twin beds and a full bathroom with a shower and bath. The lounge area has a single bed, with the option to add a second. Note that the bathroom is accessible through the main bedroom. The cottage is located in the main house and has its own entrance. It is fully self-catering and includes a dining table, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a two-plate gas hob with pots and pans, an FHD TV in the bedroom and a second TV in the lounge area, fans and heaters, electric blankets, DStv, Netflix, and more.
The Annex can accommodate 1 guest and is furnished with a queen-size bed and en-suite wetroom bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Other facilities include a bar fridge, a microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV full DStv, Netflix and Wi-Fi.
The cottages are serviced daily except for some public holidays. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool and a braai is available on request. Secure off-street parking with remote access is provided.
