Ook baie dankie met julle begrip oor die verbeterings wat ons besig is om aan te bring asook die bietjie advies wat julle met ons kon deel! Dit is vir ons 'n vreugde om gaste te verwelkom so aangenaam soos u en u man. Ons hoop dat julle weer die geleentheid sal kry om die Paarl te besoek en te kyk hoe A`Queenslin verander (hopenlik verbeter!) oor die komende weke. Baie dankie vir jou besoek en dat u die tyd geneem het om u kommentaar en ervaring te deel. Wanneer ons 'n lae punt van gaste kry probeer ons om terugvoer te gee op elke punt. So kan ons die ervaring vir alle gaste verbeter waar moontlik.
Gedeelde badkamer: U het 'n kamer met 'n gedeelde badkamer bespreek, dit is so geadverteer op ons eie webtuiste asook al die verskeie besprekings webtuistes. Dit was die goedkoopste kamer beskikbaar. Ander kamers met hul eie badkamer was ook beskikbaar. U was met u aankoms 'n gratis opgradering aangebied na een van hierdie kamers, wat u van die hand gewys het.
Waarde vir geld: Teen R 700.00 vir twee mense in 'n gemaklike kamer met volle DStv en gratis Wi-Fi ingelsuit, voel ons dit is goeie waarde vir geld. Ons is jammer dat dit nie u ervaring was nie.
Klientediens: Ons het geen klagte van u ontvang oor die dame wat u ingesien het nie. Ons het ook nie die voorreg gehad om u self te ontmoet nie. Ek is dus onseker hoekom u klientediens slegs 1 uit 5 gemerk het. Soos genoem, het ons u 'n gratis opgradering aangebied na 'n en-suite kamer wat u nie opgeneem het nie. Ek sou graag wou weet waar ons beter diens kon verskaf om sodoende te verbeter in die toekoms.
Netheid: U kommentaar: "Alles was netjies" en u punt van 3 uit 5 word na verwys. Ons is onseker of daar 'n probleem was aangesien die kommentaar die indruk skep dat alles in orde was. Kamers word elke dag gediens, die badkamer word minstens 2 keer per dag skoongemaak. Indien daar iewers is waar ons beter kan doen sou ons u verdere kommentaar hoog op prys stel.
Ligging: Baie dankie vir u punt op ligging, ons is bly u was tevrede daarmee en dat ons gaste die rustigheid van die omgewing waar ons is kan geniet.
Sekuriteit: Daar is buite u kamer 'n deur wat sluit, 3 deure en hekke wat sluit voor u by die grensmuur kom, waar die buite hek ook gesluit is. U het 'n private balkon, met 'n skuifdeur wat sluit, en 'n sekuriteitshek, weer met 'n buite hek wat sluit as u by die grensmuur kom waar alles weer gesluit is. Dus of 4 of 5 deure en hekke wat sluit om tot binne die kamer te kom. In u kamer is 'n digitale kluis wat gestel kan word met 'n kode wat net u sou ken. Ons voel 1 uit 5 is dus 'n baie lae punt vir sekuriteit. Daar is 'n buurtwag, kamera stelsel en gereelde patrollies deur die sekuriteits verskaffer wat gedoen word. In 27 jaar is daar nog nie by 'n kar ingebreek of iets gesteel by gaste nie. Indien daar 'n manier is waar ons u meer veilig kon laat voel het, sal ons beslis daaraan aandag gee. Ek sien uit na meer terugvoering in hierdie verband indien u die geleendheid kry.

Ons is tans besig met bietjie opknappingswerk, dit sal nuwe beddens, beddegoed, handdoeke insluit sovel as bitjie verf en ander decor. Teen volgende jaar wil ons die badkomers ook oorgedoen he. Ek hoop ons sal vir julle in die toekoms weer verblyf kan aanbied en na die veranderinge u terugvoer weer kry.

Dear Mr and Mrs Marius Fourie, we are so sad for you, that your entire holiday was ruined, by the fact that quite a few of the accommodations, booked by you, were not up to your standard!
Through LekkeSlaap, you booked the large double bedroom no 3, plus private under roof patio, private garden, full kitchenette @ R 300.00 p/p p/n. The shared bathroom, is more than clearly stated on the website.
On arrival, I knew that you may not be happy with what you had booked, so I offered you the choice of your booked room and the only other available bedroom, an en-suite with its own huge private, under roof / sunny patio. You both took a long time to decide, but I waited patiently, offering you a cup of tea or coffee, whilst you decided.

If you were so unhappy with our accommodation, we would have happily refunded you in full, in order for you to find what suited you. You never said a word to me! We also said that when the room is serviced in the morning, all crockery and cutlery used, would be cleaned by the house keeper and replaced, long before midday. Had you noticed that the building is a 6 level home, you would never possibly have thought that the room you chose, could have been a garage, i.e. re the levels!
We have a beautiful highly polished antique head end, admired by many. We have a plug with a fitting leading to each bedside lamp. The mattress is a Dream Cloud Loadstar. The fridge was not turned on, I agree, as we were not expecting you in the en-suite room. Could it have been such a problem for you to simply switch the fridge on? It is hard to understand why most 95 percent of our guests are so happy staying over with us, but less than 5 percent, even look under the bed, to find some reason to complain. I hope this answers all your complaints, but still why stay for 2 nights, so unhappy, without coming to us to ask for a refund?

Dear Mr and Mrs Leon Fouche, we are so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, @ R300.00 per adult for 2 large, private bedrooms, with sliding doors opening out onto private patios.
All spotlessly clean. You requested 2 double rooms in the family suite. When you came to complain about the shared bathroom, (shared with one retired medical doctor) you admitted that you had not read the description of the rooms properly. You told me, only on arrival, that you wanted 2 king-size beds, because you wished to sleep with your son and your wife wished to sleep with her son's girl friend, in order for the young couple, not to sleep together!
I offered you Room 1 to solve the problem, so that you would have 3 x double bedrooms.
You had 1 x King size bed in room 4 and we made up an extra single bed in room 3 with the double bed. I went out of my way plus spent a lot of my time, trying to make you happy and comfortable.

Dear Piet we regret the one night of 31st December, departing on the 1st January was spoiled for you and your family, by the things that troubled you.
We have hundreds of guests per year and we strive to please them all. Our satisfaction rate is 95%, but we take seriously what the othe 5 % have to say.
We will look into all the issues you mentioned, plus make the information on the website clearer, re the parking and the limited S/C facilities and try our best to improve on all matters. We hope that if you ever require our services again, to attend the Nederburg New Year's Eve concert for example, that you will find everything to your satisfaction.

Dear Linda, we regret that you did not enjoy your 1 night stay. We alway go the extra mile to ensure that our guests are happy. We asked our house keeper to stay in and sleep over, due to an emergency baby sitting we had to do for our son. I do apologise that we are not able to be here ourselves.
I was contactable on my cell phone and am sorry that you did not reach me.
I think I recall that one of the party booked for the night did not arrive and I was not here to give the requested refund?
We pride ourselves re the security of all our guests and there is not a single door/security gate/garden gate/patio door which cannot lock.
The house keeper must have neglected to explain the different keys to you and I realize that it can be confusing, when one stays in a strange place for 1 night only. For this too I apologise profusely. we hope that if ever you require our services again, it will be a more pleasant experience.

Good morning Dries, we are so sorry that you did not enjoy your 1 night stay.. We try to be as accurate and honest, as possible, on the website..
We have 2 x ensuite double bedrooms and a suite of 3 x double bedrooms sharing a bathroom. We will check the wording and make sure that the cheaper rooms, are accurately discribed. We only give these rooms to guests who specifically request a room in the family suite, thinking that they would have read all the information, and preferred the lower rate option of R295.00 p/p.
Try to imagine our own shock when our guests in en suite bedroom 1, sneaked in, not only 1, but 5 dogs!!
When my husband went to make coffee early next morning, he saw the pool patio area and immediately started cleaning it... we asked same guests, who had booked for 4 nights, to leave with a full refund.
All the bedrooms are tiled excepting room 5. We checked the carpeting and found a thin spot in the passage, but this is covered by a hand made runner.
We are the last establishment (on the corner) agaist Paarl Mountain and there are 2 quiet cul de sacs. This is mentioned on the website. There are 2 security cameras, 1 in each of the streets, although we have never had a problem in this good, quiet area.. We have a medical docter, who choses the room you occupied and who stays here on and off for almost a year now. As she keeps coming back, we must assume she is happy and her Mercedes, is parked in the cul de sac. We regret that you had an unpleasant experience, and hope tha you give us another chance? We offer you an en suite bedroom free of charge for 1 night to make up for your unhappy visit on the 8th of March. Kind regards, Mignon.

Beste Marietjie, alhoewel dit al meer as n jaar terug is, wat julle hier in Paarl was, wil ek graag net dankie se, dat julle moeite gemaak het om te laat weet dat julle die verblyf, die stilte en die sekuriteit geniet het. Ons het nuwe lugversorging laat insit en omdat die storte so groot is, het ons gedink dis miskien die stortkoker wat nie lekker werk nie en het dus die stort koppe vervang. Ons hoop om een dag in die toekoms julle weer te verwelkom, en hoop dan dat julle weer die verblyf sal geniet. Dit is nog steeds so stil en veilig hier by A'Queenslin. Ons het nou ook vrye Wi-Fi en sekuriteitsmuur kameras wat op Queen en Enslin strate gemik is. Ons waardeer jul bydrae om dinge te verbeter vir ons gaste.

Ambiance Apartment is perfectly situated against the foothills of Table Mountain, across the road from de Waal Park with free Sunday evening music concerts.
Ambiance is a 5 minute walk to the Garden Centre, which will supply you with all your needs for a relaxing holiday.
It is a perfect getaway for a family of 4 and you will always be welcome!
