Description
The Rustic Cottage provides a completely different experience to Arumvale’s other guest suites. Originally a farm labourer's cottage, it has been tastefully converted into a well-equipped, rustic guest cottage situated in the corner of Arumvale's extensive gardens. It is our most popular unit , guests enjoy its simple ambiance, basic facilities and understated class. The Rustic Cottage has a combined bedroom living room with a comfortable double bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The Rustic Cottage has tea & coffee supplied, a refrigerator and gas fired 2 plate stove top, a built-in fire place and private patio. Enjoy the built-in barbecue (all wood, & charcoal supplied) on the private patio next to the paddock, with spectacular views of the mountains.

- Our swimming pool is a salt water pool. It is not deep enough for diving. The pool is not fenced and parents must take full responsibility for their children. Pool towels are provided.
- Arumvale is a dog friendly establishment, however pet owners must accept full responsibility to clean up after their pets, and ensure that there is no disturbance or injury to other guests and/or damage to property.
- Smoking is not permitted in guest accommodation units.
- A selection of DVDs are available at reception.
- Wood and charcoal for the braai's is supplied.
- Unfortunately, due to architectural constraints, we are not equipped for wheelchairs.
- Suites are serviced once a day. However, guests are required to wash their own dishes.

- DVD player and a television are not provided in the Rustic Garden Cottage.

- Arumvale is broadly speaking child friendly, however it is adjacent to a working farm and it has an unfenced swimming pool - so caution and adult supervision is required.

Description
The Anneline Garden Cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests. The bedroom is an upstairs mezzanine room that contains a queen-size bed, a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin, and lovely views. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchenette, dining and living area and a second bathroom. The tastefully decorated lounge contains a free-standing fireplace, 2 single sleeper couches, and a TV with satellite channels and a DVD player. There is a dining table and seating, and a kitchenette that is equipped with a stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, cooking utensils, and cutlery and crockery. Outside the cottage has a patio with braai facilities.

Enjoy the built-in barbecue on the private patio, (all wood, & charcoal supplied). The Malette Suite sleeps two adults in a queen-size bed in a separate bedroom with the option of a further one adult on a sleeper couch in the lounge. The suite is equipped with full package cable DSTV television and a DVD player and has tea & coffee with milk etc. supplied. Tasteful decorating with country-styled fabrics and antique furniture gives the Malette Suite a warm, cosy ambiance in winter and a cool, airy feel in the heat of summer. The Malette Suite is situated on the ground floor of Arumvale Country House with a separate, private entrance and adjacent car parking facility.

For further flexibility, the King Bed can be split into 2 single beds The suite is equipped with full package cable DSTV television and a DVD player and has tea & coffee with milk etc. supplied. Enjoy the built-in barbecue on the private patio, (all wood, & charcoal supplied). Tasteful decorating with country-styled fabrics and antique furniture gives the Carol Suite a warm, cosy ambiance in winter and a cool, airy feel in the heat of summer. The Carol Suite is situated on the upper floor of Arumvale Country House with a separate, private entrance. Please note that these units have stairs.

The Stable is an open-plan cottage with a king-size bed and a single bed. The en-suite bathroom is filled with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove, toaster, fridge-freezer, and microwave with basic cutlery and crockery. Guests have access to a private patio with built-in braai facilities and can look up at our majestic mountains.
