At 29 Columba Guest House, is located in Southern Cross, Great Brak River in the very heart of the spectacular Garden Route. It is perfectly located between George and Mossel Bay and suited to accommodate private guests as well as large families for family reunions. The guesthouse overlooks the spectacular Outeniqua Mountains as well as the whole of Great Brak River.
This guesthouse consists of 4 rooms upstairs and 1 room on the ground floor. The 4 upstairs rooms, Room 1 to 4 share communal areas such as the fully equipped kitchen, balconies, braai area, living, dining and lounge area. The rooms each have their own private bathroom. There is DSTV in the lounge area.
Room 5 shares the living space with the owner, and is especially meant for people who cannot use the stairs.
Wi-Fi is free and always available, independent of load shedding. Safe parking is provided for guests.
The beautiful white sandy beach is only a 5-minute walk from the house, where you can enjoy an early morning or late afternoon walk. The Guest House is next to the N2 highway, running from Cape Town to Durban and further north, and is a perfect base to stay during your visit in the Southern Cape, with George Airport only being a scenic 20-minute drive away. We are close to many venues, restaurants and grocery stores such as De Vette Mossel, De Dekke, Transkaroo and Spar.
