We didn't sleep well.
Nice place in nice location. But that's where the good points stop. When we arrived the hostess was inept as if we had bothered her to arrive on a Sunday afternoon. The introduction that we have to set the alarm in the evening because there were incidents did not reassure us for a peaceful visit in Grayton. The house needs a decent clean - especially the kitchen. The crockery also needs attention as it looks like the owner left all the single cups and plates that were left here - or picked them up from a second-hand shop. Nothing matched and much of the kitchenware was 'chipped'. We mostly went out for dinner because we weren't comfortable cooking in the kitchen. There was construction going on at the entrance to the nature reserve, and the contractors were storing building materials on the lot and in the early mornings they also plugged in power to the house - we were not informed of this. On the last night of our stay we went to look for another place to sleep in the town, because during the day garden services arrived and the workers looked in the windows a lot to see what we were doing and who was there, so much so that we were no longer comfortable didn't feel like sleeping there that night. Definitely would not recommend the place to anyone.
