House Rules
Please note the property does not allow pets.
ATKV will host its Afrikiti Festival on the weekend of 29-30 November 2024. A festival levy of R200 will be added to all bookings for that weekend. This fee grants entry to the festival, which will feature various activities, live performances, and entertainment.
Please be advised that we are a family-oriented establishment. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation units and buildings throughout the property. In accordance with the law, guests may face fines for non-compliance. Should smoking occur within the accommodation units, a R1000 fee will be charged to cover the costs of deep cleaning and any potential loss of income due to the unit's temporary unavailability. Additionally, the use of “Hookah” or "Hubbly Bubbly" pipes is also not permitted anywhere on the property.
Guests will adhere to all terms and conditions as well as the resort rules.
Accepted credit/debit card payments: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club International.
Additional guests, other than those stated on the booking are not allowed. No day visitors are allowed. ATKV resorts are aimed at family holidays and no parties or noise are allowed after 23:00.
Upon arrival guests will be:
Required to complete and sign the resort’s indemnity form.
Issued with a vehicle permit.
Group bookings apply when 3 or more accommodation units/camp stands are booked.
No group gatherings are allowed between units/camp stands. Groups must book a lapa/venue (subject to availability). There is also a deposit payable for group bookings of R 2 500.
Paying for extra charges :
Bookings allow for 1 vehicle per accommodation unit/camp stand. A fee will be charged for extra vehicles, and guests can find out more about this at reception.
Deposit Policy:
Bookings made with an arrival date more than 30 days in advance require a 50% deposit within 48 hours (including bookings made in the preferred booking period), and the difference must be paid in full 30 days before arrival.
Bookings made with an arrival date less than 30 days in advance require a 100% deposit within 48 hours.
One-night bookings require 100% payment within 48 hours, regardless of how far in advance such a booking is made.
If the first deposit period is disregarded, the booking may be cancelled.
Due to escalating incidents of fraudulent electronic fund transfers (EFT), we require that EFT payments are made at least two days prior to arrival. In the event that your payment does not reflect in Natalia’s bank account upon arrival, we will require you to pay the outstanding amount. The necessary refund will occur if and when the payment does reflect in Natalia’s bank account.
No keys or permits will be issued until the full account has been settled. Cheque payments are not accepted.
Check-in time for accommodation units and camp stands is from 14:00. Check-out time is 10:00
for accommodation units and 12:00 for camp stands.
Smoking in accommodation units is strictly prohibited.
Accommodation units are serviced daily except Sundays.
Guests using our camping facilities must please bring their own power point adaptor.
The standard size per camp stand is 7m x 7m.
Own swimming towels and dishcloths must be provided.
No music is permitted at the resort from motor vehicles or private sound systems/equipment.
Please consider the other guests by keeping noise levels as low as possible.
Silence must be maintained between 23:00 and 07:00.
No motorbikes or ATV 4-wheelers are allowed at the resort.
Only accepted swimwear will be allowed.
Note that during the week in the low season there may be conferences or school groups at the resort.

There is a restaurant and activities available at the resort, and more information is available upon arrival.
