One of the highlights of our stay was the warmth and friendliness of the people.

Staying at Bainskloof Berghuis was a truly memorable experience, offering a wonderful escape into nature. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of Bainskloof, you’re immersed in lush landscapes, with mountains and rivers practically at your doorstep. Waking up to the sounds of nature and stepping outside to breathtaking views made every moment special.

What a lovely quiet place to stay. Isabella was a lovely host and I enjoyed every minute of the stay.

Pragtige natuurskoon en rustigheid weg van die stad se gedruis

Eerstens wil ons net vir Isa en Dirk baie dankie sê vir hul gasvryheid. Hulle het ons dadelik baie tuis laat voel in hierdie pragtige berghuisie. Lekkernye soos beskuit, appels en sjokolade het ons lekker bederf laat voel. Die rivier was onbeskryflik mooi net na die baie reën wat in die omgewing geval het. Teen sonsondergang sit jy met 'n glasie wyn op die voorstoep en verkyk jou na die pragtige natuurskoon. Ons was bietjie teleurgesteld, want ons het geen spoke teëgekom nie! First of all, we just want to thank Isa and Dirk for their hospitality. They immediately made us feel very much at home in this beautiful mountain house. Treats like biscuits, apples and chocolate made us feel pampered. The river was indescribably beautiful just after the many rains that had fallen in the area. At sunset you sit on the front porch with a glass of wine and gaze at the beautiful scenery. We were a little disappointed because we didn't encounter any ghosts! We fully recommend the historic mountain cottage to someone who loves nature.
