Berghut @ Kruisrivier Guest Farm offers lovely self-catering accommodation secluded on a farm located just outside of Montagu. This is a great option for a couple or a solo traveller wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

This cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 guests and features an open-plan design. It is furnished with a double bed and has an outdoor bathroom fitted with a hot-water shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided.

Additionally, this cottage has a kitchenette equipped with a gas plate, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. This space also has a fireplace and a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together.

This cottage has no electricity; however, lanterns are provided for light. Please note the unit does not have a TV, and the farm does not have cellphone reception. Outside there is a covered patio with seating where guests can enjoy a morning coffee or a sundowner while having a braai.

Kruisrivier Guest Farm offers a range of activities such as fishing, mountain biking, swimming in the dam and bird watching. A variety of animals can be seen such as tortoise species, springboks, eland, Black Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, steenbok and over 180 bird species.

Various walking trails can also be found on the farm, and guests are welcome to bring their quad bikes with prior arrangements. Pets are also welcome with prior arrangements. Game rides are available at an additional cost per hour.
