Description

Birdsong is a charming, self-catering cottage situated on a gravel road just outside the rural village of Napier, Western Cape. Napier and the surrounding areas have a wealth of bird life and flora with hiking and mountain biking opportunities. The night skies are a delight and the several restaurants in the village ensure you don't need to cook.

The main house has 2 bedrooms, 1 of which has a shower en suite and a toilet, and second full bathroom with separate shower. The house contains a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and gas burner for those pesky power outages. The open-plan dining area and lounge with closed wood-burning stove, opens to a comfortable deck for relaxing and bird watching. An outside braai and an additional kettle braai caters for the home chefs.

A separate en-suite pool room is ideal for a family, sleeping 2 adults in a double bed with a sleeper couch and single roll out single bed suitable for 2 children up to 12-years old. An en-suite shower and toilet and kitchenette with fridge, kettle and microwave gives independence from the main cottage for that early morning cuppa. This unit is not rented separately, ensuring your privacy and comfort.

A large pool is popular on the many hot days we get in Napier. Pets welcome by arrangement with a small surcharge.
