Blue Crane Cottage @ Spookfontein Self-catering Cottages is a cosy retreat situated on a farm surrounded by vineyards and mountains in the picturesque Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Situated between the Babilonstoring and Kleinrivier Mountains, this farm spans 313 hectares and is well-known for its exquisite wines and delightful lunches. The charming self-catering cottages provide a comfortable stay, just 15 km away from the heart of Hermanus.
This cottage can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 tastefully furnished bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed and have bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to the dining area and further opens up to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a large stone fireplace.
The cottage opens up to the patio with outdoor seating space and boasts breathtaking views of the mountains and vineyards. In true country fashion, guests can enjoy a built-in braai around the back, or entertain and unwind on the front patio, which leads to the living areas and bedrooms.
Guests have access to a dam on the farm which allows for swimming, and are afforded secure parking on the premises.
