Lovely little place with the best view!

All in all we had a wonderful experience. Would do it again anytime.

Our stay was excellent. Customer service and preparatory information received was excellent. The only thing missing was a written information package describing how to operate the TV and remote, a town map, a listing of restaurants, bars, shops, and things to do. We adore the somewhat 'historical rustic' and 'from the old days' living conditions. That is why we rented this 'OLD' cabin. The cabin is a nicely renovated old fisherman's house. We rented the cabin during mid-June, so in winter time, which meant relatively low temperatures. Bo Bakkies 1 is a very nice and cosy accommodation with splendid unobstructed sea views and well equipped with everything you need. Even a bag of braai wood, drinking water, and a small carton of milk was provided. As there was no electrical or gas room heating source available, we were dependent on having the wood-burning indoor braai going during the day and evening. The cabin has WiFi and a burglar alarm installed. Security is good. Parking is off the road but not gated. You get the odd 'hawkers' coming by shouting for your attention to sell their crayfish produce, etc. It could be a bit annoying at times. Overall, a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere as there is hardly any traffic. The cabin is close to some bars, restaurants, and a few 100m away from the Paternoster Waterfront area. We highly recommend the beachfront restaurant Gaaitjie (https://gaaitjie.co.za/).

Ons het wonderlik gebly. Die plek was skoon en netjies met gerieflike fasiliteite. Die ligging is baie sentraal en ons het gestap waar ons wou wees.

Perfect for a cold rainy winter's weekend.

Van aankoms tot vertrek was dit ongelooflik. Not just your average Paternoster accommodation. Has everything you need and more, even proper wine glasses. Very impressed. Just a note: Don't leave anything unattended outside or security gate unlocked. We live in South Africa.

Klein bietjie aandag kan mens sê ervaring drasties verbeter.

Eerste opslag nie goed nie. Vuil omgewing en voel onveilig. Papoeaatje met vrot aas net buite heining. Parkering op erf maar op straat. Baie mooi uitsig. Lekker braai plek. Binne die eenheid is dit netjies skoon en gerieflik. Lekker bed. Kaggel aanwins vir koue nagte. Voordeur is baie laag en mens is geneig om die hele tyd jou kop te stamp. Ons het lekker gebly. Agente moet net seker maak dat die vullis in die onmiddelike omgewing van die huisie skoon is as mens arriveer.

Excellent for a couple - cottage accommodation in a prime location - would definitely return.
