Description
Brenton Blue is a spacious house that is shared with the owner and comes with a choice of rooms in Brenton-on-Sea and is just 1 km from the main beach.
Guests have a choice of 4 bed and breakfast rooms, and 1 self-catering unit. The self-catering apartment, Delft, has a bedroom as well as a private bathroom. The unit has a private kitchen and opens onto a deck with a partial sea view. There is also a braai area.
The 4 bed-and-breakfast rooms, Beachcomber, The Lily Room, Union Jack, and Out of Africa, each have a private bedroom and bathroom and open onto a deck. A communal lounge, dining room, as well as a braai area, and Jacuzzi, are available for guests to use.
On request, and at an additional cost, a picnic lunch can be arranged, as well as bookings at the nearby golf courses and restaurants.
There's also a lovely walking route called Fisherman's Walk, which is on the dunes and offers a lovely view over Brenton and Buffels Bay. For the fit guests, the stairs down to the pristine beach are a must.
There are many walking routes in the area as well as artists who exhibit their works at Oaks on Main in Knysna as well as other galleries. Knysna has many interesting restaurants and many of them also offer music at night. We can make reservations for guests if they're interested, seeing that these performances are high in demand.
In Rheenendal, which is a few kilometres from Brenton, there are many interesting places to visit such as the old Gold Mine.
Guests can visit the Brenton Blue Butterfly Reserve, cycle or walk, relax on the beach, or travel the 14 km to Knysna which offers various restaurants, cafes, and shops. Knysna Waterfront and the shopping centre is 12 km away.
