Matilda and Thinus are the perfect hosts. We received the warmest welcome and had the most delicious meals which they prepared for us. The lodge is beautifully maintained; it is a true gem. Beautiful, relaxing venue, small but a certain level of luxury and service well above average.

We checked in for 1 night, the service was impecable, dinner was delicious (at extra cost) in the beautiful lounge/dining room area, bar was well stocked. Lovely deck for sundowners/sunrise. Our room was ideal for our purposes, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. Might also mention that we found it hard to find due to poor signage coming in from Thabazimbi, or we missed it.
