Excellent, comfortable stay.

Very comfortable and well kitted out for all requirements. Very close to the beach. Altogether a wonderful stay. Lack of WiFi could be a problem for some.

Overpriced with many flaws.

I was truly disappointed with how the accommodation for R2500 per night looked. Full of staff of owners or previous guests. In the fridge, food and alcohol; in every drawer, some stuff, old paintings, old things. It didn’t feel like a nice vibe as it showed in the photos. I expected at least one towel per person. Nothing. Even soap! Nothing. We had to use only one shower with lukewarm water. The second didn't have hot/lukewarm water for 3 days. No WiFi. Outdated, many odd old things, cheap. Not the nicest holiday home. Positive - the view - we saw whales from bed.

Beach Bungalow 29 's response

Hi Lena, so sorry to hear that you've not enjoyed your stay. I'd like to address issues mentioned:
- There is a small drawer at the bottom of the fridge where homeowners leave some items, such as sauces etc. This is also available for guests to use if needed.
- It is clearly stated and communicated beforehand that guests need to bring their own towels.
- It is also clearly stated that the house does not have WiFi.
- We also sent an info sheet before checking in, stating which items are provided, such as black bags, dishwashing liquid etc. Personal body wash is not one of the items listed.
- Regarding the water issue, this must have been a once-off issue as the guests who checked in before you as well as after you have not reported any issues when we checked, but we'll keep an eye on the geysers should this issue come up again.

We are glad to hear you've enjoyed the view; this is one of the best features of the property.
