A really pleasant stopover in Calitzdorp with friendly hosts who will dazzle you with their culinary skills.

Wandering for the sake of it.

This is with out doubt a beautiful area but the experience was all the more enjoyable because of our stay at Calitzdorp Country House. What stood out for us was the quality furnishing which was chosen with thought and tastefully arranged. The hosts were both interesting to talk to and attentive to our needs. Example being: we arrived late in the day on a Sunday and had made no arrangements for an evening meal, yet Nell went the extra mile and her food cannot be faulted.

The guest house is in a great location with beautiful views over the vineyards from the terrace. Our hosts were so accommodating and made us feel totally at home.

The rooms are spacious with good sized bathrooms and our stay was very comfortable.
