Description
Call of the Fish Eagle offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a lovely double-storey holiday home, situated in Marloth Park Conservancy, which borders the Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is located 21 km from the Crocodile Bridge gate access to the Kruger National Park.
The tastefully furnished home borders parkland and receives plenty of visits from free-roaming park animals, such as blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, impala and ample bird life.
The house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms. Upstairs there are 2 en-suite bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, shower, bath and double vanities. Downstairs there is 1 en-suite bedroom with 2 three-quarter beds, a shower and single vanity. Upstairs is a second living area that has 2 sleeper couches for the seventh and eighth guests.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, oven and stove, microwave, cutlery and crockery, and a water filtration system, as well as a washing machine and dishwasher for convenience. The bar area has a bar fridge, ice maker, and glasses.
All the bedrooms and living areas lead to entertainment decks. The bottom deck has a splash pool for those hot summer days, and a boma with a braai area and fire pit. The deck is spacious and is the ideal spot to relax and watch the animals walking freely around the house.
Additional features include solar, borehole, uncapped Wi-Fi and a TV with selected DStv channels. The house features air-conditioning in all the rooms, as well as in the downstairs living area. The house is equipped with an alarm system, including beams on the decks; there is also a clear guard security system in front of the windows and doors.
The location of the house offers access to restaurants and shops located in Marloth Park. The house is ideally situated as a base from which to enjoy day trips to the Kruger National Park. Marloth Park also has its own game reserve, Lionspruit, and is a bird watcher's paradise, with approximately 300 species of bird, including the Eastern nicator, yellow-billed, red-billed, grey and crowned hornbills, and of course the African Fish Eagle.
