Rejuvenating.

A lovely place within walking distance from the beach. Just one thing that must change in their bio, that they require a noise fee that is included in the damage fee. That was not informed prior, only when we had to check in. We noted a few things to the manager that needed attention, but they were minor issues.

Great stay with a great view.

Great stay with a great view. The only thing was there were not enough coffee cups for all 7 of us, also no scissors, and there is a hole in the bottom of the pool table (so the balls kept falling out).

Lovely.

We stayed on the 1st and 2nd floor and had complaints from people below in the other units about the noise coming down. A proper barrier (e.g. door) would be nice to solve that problem. Otherwise, a very lovely stay.

Very nice!

The place is great, but it would be nice if we had coffee, tea and sugar there, also a bit of hand soap. The worst was at night when we wanted to shower the geyser was off and we could not find the box so only one of us had a cold shower.

Die kuier was okay.

Dit was baie duur vir wat aangebied was. Die eenheid was nie skoon by aankoms nie. Die vullisdrom was nie skoongemaak nie. Die TV was beperk en bitter klein. Die stort het gelek en na aanmelding kon dit nie reggemaak geword nie. Die yskas het niks koud gehou nie, en ons moes die vleis weggooi. Op aankoms was die gloeilampe buite werking en hulle het kom vervang na ons gaan aanmeld het. Vir die prys - nee dankie, dit was nie so lekker nie.

View from the house was spectacular, but house was very inconvenient.

Its the very first time I rented a home through the website where I am left disappointed. Cleanliness of house was not up to standard (windows and blinds was extremely dusty and dirty). No extra cleaning materials or hygiene products was left for us to use (I had to buy additional dish clothes, liquid hand soap for all bathrooms, toilet paper, Domestos, toilet air freshener, and dishwasher tablets), neither was a mop provided. No additional linen was left. I borrowed pots from a friend (who owns a home in Calypso) as the condition of the cookware was really unacceptable. We were without electricity for about 2 hours on Saturday 3 April and not allowing the use of the lift was both inconvenient and inconsiderate (particularly because its not declared upfront in the advert and one member of our group has a disability with her right foot). Had it not been for the fantastic view and the fact that we needed a break away, we would have left on Saturday afternoon already and not stayed for the entire duration. Am really disappointed and will definitely not recommend or rebook Calypso Mansion unless serious upgrades and service improvement is implemented.

Fantastiese verblyf.

Baie vriendelike personeel en hulle het baie moeite gedoen om die verblyf aangenaam te maak. Die huis is baie groot met alles wat jy nodig het en meer. Dis baie veilig net 'n pragtige see-uitsig. Ons sal beslis terugkeer.

Die ligging is fantasties, strand is skoon mooi en veilig. Loopafstand van eetplekke. Langebaan was 'n vreeslike lekker plek. Die verblyf is ongelukkig nie so fantasies soos geadverteer nie.

Die woonstel is baie mooi en modern, ongelukkig word daar nie werklik aandag gegee aan die plek nie: Yskas en stoof se blad het nie gewerk nie. Die DStv het nie gewerk nie, het net sekere kanale, agterdeur het vasgesit, stort het gelek. Toilet is nie op 'n plek gebou waar lang mense welkom is nie. Daar was nie 'n braaier, Kombuisware is oud en gekraak. Glase het nie maats, geen plastiek ware vir kinders, reëlings vir parkering is onduidelik. Daar was nie genoegsame skoonmaakgoedjies nie.

Nie wat ons verwag het nie. Plek is pragtig, maar goed werk nie reg nie.

Vrieskas vries nie, yskas maak nie regtig koud nie. Toilet-bak los en op onpraktiese plek. Stort lek water. Nie baie goeie ervaring gehad nie.
