Lovely cottage but not as private as we would have liked.

It was okay. The picture of the cottage gives the impression that you have privacy - this is not the case, with the main home literally right next door and the parking location and street on the other side of the cottage. The cottage itself was comfortable, neat and tidy.

We're sorry that the cottage was not as you hoped it would be. However, your review is inaccurate. The main house is a completely separate building, separated from the cottage by a garden area as well as a tall wooden fence. We also don't understand what you mean about a parking area and street on the side of the cottage. The cottage is set more than 100 metres back from the main road, and there is no parking or street nearby. The only path going past the cottage is a fire access for emergencies (enabling a fire truck to access the dam at the back of the property only in the case of a fire emergency) that we do not permit anyone to use (to ensure a peaceful stay).
