Description
The Chameleon Bush Lodge is centrally located in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, Gauteng, where the Big 5 roam free. Come experience luxurious and comfortable accommodation in natural surroundings and well-situated to area guided bush walks and game drives.
The lodge offers an arrangement of 5 chalets. Each bachelor style chalet features a unique color scheme, modern appliances, and well-appointed en-suite bathrooms. They are furnished with twin extra-length single beds, fitted in fine bed linen; fully-equipped kitchens with fridge-freezers, gas stoves and ovens, microwaves, cutlery, and crockery for 4 people; and TVs with DStv "Access" packages. All chalets have air conditioning. The en-suite bathrooms have showers, baths, basins, and toilets. The 2 Family Units each comprises 2 spacious, en-suite bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen/dining area; patio with built-in braai, plus a fire pit in the garden. Each bedroom has sliding door opening onto the garden plus its own outdoor shower,
Guests will enjoy lovely views from throughout each chalet. The bathrooms (through one-way glazing), breakfast nooks, and patios all allow for views of the surrounding area. Step out onto the patio and make use of the nice built-in braais, or recline on the custom-made patio furniture. In the garden is a Lapa with concrete bench seating, a central fire pit, and concrete table-top under a roof.
For added peace of mind, the property is secured within electric fencing, a remote gate, and units include electronic laptop safes. Apart from the big variety of birds, the property is also home to a colony of springhare, who are very active in the early evenings. Guests can go on guided bush walks and game drives, provided by Mongena Game Lodge. Or book at any of the entrance gates for the self-drive.
