Relaxing, fun, totally enjoyed our stay.

A lovely place to spend a weekend just relaxing and getting away from the city. As a group, we really enjoyed the time we got to spend there. A few suggestions: 1) The braai needs a bit of an upgrade. 2) The ginger cat is a bit of a menace. 3) The bedroom with all the kids' stuff could do with a bit more packing space in the cupboard.

Our stay was great. Anne the caretaker was lovely. We had everything we needed.

The farmhouse was lovely, and Anne the caretaker was great. She popped by once a day to make sure that everything was fine, as she lives on the property. I think for privacy purposes, she should rather communicate only via WhatsApp. Other than that, the farmhouse was fully equipped. You won't need anything while you're there. The only thing missing was definitely a pool, but they are working on it. Would definitely go back.

The Cheerful Farmhouse would be an amazing retreat from the city, but there is only one large couch for six people. There is a fancy dining room set with plenty of chairs, but to lounge, there is not enough. The en-suite bathroom was clean, but there was only used soap, and the shower drain was very dirty. The common bathroom was very dirty; the basin was black. The house is equipped with everything and would be a wonderful place to get away to if a little extra attention is paid to the little things.
