Ok'ish.

I would normally give 4 stars because of the location very close to the beach. However, there are some drawbacks, so for us it was 3 stars. 1. ) The rooms smell very bad, after one day all our clothes smelled and we had to wash everything. The things we cannot wash (bags, suitcases, caps, etc.) still smell after several days. We have been to other beach houses and never encountered something like that. My wife has asthma and could not stay there. Luckily we had another accommodation available in Arniston, so we switched. 2. ) When we turned on the microwave, the main fuse blew. The agent responsible for the property reacted very quickly, thank you for that. When trying to turn on the lamp in the living room, we noticed a bare wire showing out of the switch. We were lucky that the fuse blew, otherwise it could have ended badly. 3. ) There is a fireplace/braai outside, that is not covered. So if it rains (as it did when we were there), it cannot be used. Also, there is no table (but chairs) outside next to the fireplace. This is shown in the pictures provided, but could still be improved.
