Citrus Creek Chalets and Camping

Host was friendly and very helpful. Home away from home. Fully equipped. Kids enjoyed every minute.

I enjoyed the stay. Loved the pool. It was very welcome in the heat. I would have preferred a chalet overlooking the river. Chalet 7 was overlooking the highway.

The accommodation was clean, friendly helpful people.

I forgot that there were no teabags etc. which would have been lovely but my fault, not theirs. Would have been lovely. The area had recently suffered from flood damage but they made sure that the accommodation didn't get affected.

Wonderlike plekkie. Ons het ons tyd baie geniet, lekker swembad en geriewe.

Loadshedding het my nie veel gepla nie, as gevolg van die gasstoof ek kon my koffie elke oggend geniet.

Place is very neat and tidy just a lot of scary spiders. Manager was very helpful.

Everything was fine just the DStv in the Lapa was not accessible all the time.

Ons het lekker gebly.

Die huisies is goed toegerus. Dit sal lekker wees as die bad en stort met 'n storthokkie vervang word.

Friendly host but facilities needs maintenance.

The hosts was very friendly and pleasant. The garden, however, needs lots of attention and the lawn needs regular mowing. Accommodations was clean and acceptable.

Chalets is goed toegerus met alles wat jy kan nodig hê. Vriendelike diens.

Harmonic and relaxing.

Resort is very clean and chalets are equipped with all the basics needed. Very well maintained with a rustic farm feel. Beds and bedding felt new and were super comfortable. The entertainment room needs TLC though, since the pool table was torn. Only downfall was that we were housed next to what I suppose was an elderly resident whom complained about noise. Very strict on no music policy, but felt very restricted not to laugh too loud outside whilst braaing or while playing board games with family on the stoep and lounge. TV sound we kept to minimal so not to upset the neighbour. Will request to not be housed in same chalet again. Staff made regular rounds to ensure we were all good and still enjoying ourselves.

Awesome stay during a difficult time.

We occupied unit no 4 and it was more than sufficient for what we needed. There was sleeping place far all 7 of us. The loft room has 3 single beds and the boys had their own 'pad'. They enjoyed that very much. The spar is very close by, so no need to worry if you forgot anything. The house was clean and tidy and there was sanitizer available for us to use during our stay. The pool was the best part of our stay. Next time, we would like to take some time to go horse riding. They have the most beautiful horses that are in excellent condition. We had a very enjoyable stay for the 3 days. Thank you to our host.

Behalwe vir die oorvol dorp was dit baie lekker

Citrus Creek was baie netjies en met vriendelike mense. Ek was nie beïndruk met die dorp Citrusdal nie. Oral was daar lang rye en die dorp is baie vuil. Sal nie weer terug keer vir 'n naweek daar nie.

Lekker gekuier, perd gery deur die lemoen boorde en die eienaar het ons almal een laat middag met die trekker uitgevat waar ons gaan swem het in die rivier.

Ons het baie rond gery tydens ons tydjie in Citrusdal en die dorpie was vir daai doeleindes lekker sentraal geleë. Die bergpasse, plase met kilometers van wingerde, sitrus en olyfbome so tussen die Sederberge was asemrowend mooi. Daar was soos gewoonlik net te min tyd om als wat die area bied te sien.

'n Heerlike plekkie om langs die rivier tot rus te kom. Goed toegerus.

Ons het gaan blomme kyk, maar besluit om saam met familie in Citrusdal te kuier. Was slegs 2 aande by die huisie, maar dit was 'n lekker wegkomplekkie.

It was very nice , we rested well. Very pleasant spot to stay when visiting Citrusdal.

It was very relaxing, just what we needed.

The creek has lot to see, grounds are kept well. Swimming area well equipped.

Beautiful place but poor management.

My experience was not pleasant at all. Such a shame because the place is very conveniently located close to the shops and has a lot going for it with the exception of its management. You get the sense that you're being watched constantly and puts you in a very uneasy space. The guests in the next chalet said exactly the same thing and vowed never to return.

Skoon en gerieflik, teen groot pad met baie lawaai.

Ons eenheid was skoon en gerieflik, alhoewel net Citrus Creek van al die plekke waar ons oorgebly het vereis het dat ons ons eie handdoeke moes saambring. Citrus Creek word geadverteer as langs 'n rivier, maar slegs semi-permanente inwoners was langs water, die res reg langs 'n grootpad met baie verkeer, veral swaar voertuie. Ons wou graag Citrusdal verken, toe ons die bestuurderes uitvra na besienswaardighede in die omgewing, het sy ons baie bondig meegedeel dat Citrusdal 'n nywerheidsdorp is en daar niks te siene is nie. Sy het vir ons 'n blommetoerpamflet in die hand gestop en ook voorgestel dat ons The Baths besoek gedurende ons dag in die dorp. Ons was teleurgesteld met haar antwoord.

Rustig en aangenaam.

Vriendelike diens, skoon en netjies. Sal graag volgende keer langer wil bly.

Ek het Citrus Creek so geniet. Ek sal definitief weet daar wil gaan bly. Die mobile cabin was perfek vir my vir 1 aand. Daar was alles wat ek nodig gehad het vir die 1 aand. En die badkamers is so netjies. Ek sal Citrus Creek vir enige iemand aanbeveel.
