Heerlike paar dae in 'n uiters netjiese en goed-toegeruste kothuis. Groot tuin en naby die wandelroetes.

Close to town and hiking trails, safe, friendly host.

The cottage was close to both the town and the hiking trails. There was no need to use your vehicle as both were within walking distance. The cottage was neat and clean. Security was good and within a gated property. The cottage had two bedrooms that could easily accommodate four adults. The host was helpful and provided useful information for first-time visitors to Clarens. They checked in during our stay. A lovely place to stay.

Vreeslik lekker. Rusrige omgewing met mooi uitsigte reg rondom. Alles is daar wat jy nodig het.

False advertising on items actually available in the cottage.

No full DSTV package available as advertised. The stove was only a hob with no oven. The fridge in the kitchen was actually a bar fridge - not enough cooling and freezing space for a stay of 3 nights - 4 adults. Although the cottage was clean and tidy, it is not designed for 4 adults.

Veilige, netjiese en baie mooi plek met pragtige uitsig op die stoep.

Comfortable and quaint.

The River Cottage was a fantastic stay; it was a short walk to the square and close to the walking trails. Jacquie was great with communication and could assist us with anything we asked for! The team was accommodating, and the home was beautiful to enjoy. We'll be back .

Rustigheid vir die siel.

Ons het baie lank terug so rustig gevoel. En alles was net so gerieflik. Ons het orals heen gestap juis omdat nie te vêr was van die cottage nie. Dit was naby genoeg aan die dorp om te kan stap, maar vêr genoeg om nie die dorp se klanke te hoor nie. Ons gaan weer kom kuier.

Stoep was heerlik. Rustige atmosfeer.

Wasbak in die een badkamer baie klein.

Ongelooflik. Sal weer hierheen kom.

My man moes hospitaal toe en Jacqui het ons dadelik alle inligting gegee. Ek moes langer aanbly en Jacqui het die kamer verniet aangebied tot wanneer hulle nuwe gaste sou inboek. Alles was ongelooflik netjies, modern en stiptelik.

Lieflike plek wat sommer soos jou huis voel.

Anja en Jacquie was albei baie vriendelik en tegemoedkomend. Ons het dit geweldig geniet. Rustig op die stoep gesit, met 'n pragtige uitsig op beide die berge en oor die groot uitgestrekte tuin. Alles wat ons benodig het was daar. Dit was lieflik en ons sal graag weer by Clarens River Cottage wou inboek in die toekoms. Ek sal dit definitief aanbeveel.

What a amazing stay!

Such a stunning place! I Love being close to town to walk into town. River Cottage is located right by the trails which is a bonus to go for walks into the mountain. Both Jacqui and Anja the owner were fantastic hosts. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The views from the garden onto the mountain is magnificent and the garden is any child's paradise to play in especially our son. We will definitely be back!
