We have discussed this with our housekeeper Sylvia, unfortunately, she misunderstood that both the rooms needed to be serviced, not just the one as was done. Drinking bottled water is only supplied once during the guests' arrival. However, everything else that you mention should have been taken care of during the room servicing. We really apologize for the inconvenience that was caused due to the meal/dinner. We have since made contact with Travelground to update this service. It is only available by prior arrangement. Awie, with regards to the hosts presence with our guests we have found that, most guests prefer us to be available but to give them space, normally after check in we leave the guests to their own privacy. Michelle, with regards to your booking choice, you did choose our budget accommodation choice which is the cheapest we offer and falls just above a backpacking rate. This inexpensive choice has a shared bathroom, many guests prefer to make use of this alternative as during these financially challenging times it helps to keep their costs down. We apologise profusely that our cats were a nuisance and, in future, we will take every possible step to keep them away from our guests.
The area unfortunately, we are not able to change, Kidd's Beach can be clearly seen as situated 28 km from East London, this sadly we cannot change. We can only hope that guests continue to book with us and enjoy the peace and tranquillity, and the safety that the Village lifestyle brings to one. Michelle, we cannot apologise enough that you did not have a good experience with us. We will definitely address your concerns.
