House Rules

Your on-site host, Alex, will welcome you and give you keys, gate remote and alarm remote on arrival as well as take you on a walk-through of the home. An early check-in is welcome if the hosts have not had guests in-house on the day of your arrival.
Please arrange a time with Alex to handover the keys and remotes by 10:00.
Please help the hosts conserve water and electricity.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit. You are welcome to smoke on the patio. Kindly put your ash and butts in the container provided. Please do not empty this container in the dustbin inside the house. This will be cleaned and emptied daily.
This apartment is contracted to Mamba Security who patrol Highway Gardens suburb continuously. Beams have been placed for extra precaution. Please activate the alarm and ensure all doors are locked before retiring for the evening. Kindly ensure doors are locked and the front gate is closed when leaving the premises.
The name for the Wi-Fi is READ and the code for the Wi-Fi is "13utc1-1".

You are welcome to make use of the Espresso machine at your own cost.
You are welcome to make use of the washing machine, but please use the “Sportswear” mode which has a 42-minute wash cycle in order to conserve water. Please provide your own washing powder and fabric softener. There is a washing line provided just outside the back door.
Please do not use the tumble dryer for more than 10 minutes per day.
You are welcome to make use of the dishwasher but please only use it on “Favourite” mode.
You will be provided with a bath towel per person on arrival. In an effort to conserve water, the hosts request that you use this towel for as long as you feel comfortable. Should you wish the hosts to refresh these, kindly place them in the wash basket provided in each bathroom. There is a hand towel, hand wash and hand cream provided per bathroom. Please do not take these home. The hosts supply a bath gel and body lotion per guest. You are welcome to take these home. Facecloths are provided. Please could ladies kindly use these to remove make up before using towels.
There is a cleaning service on Tuesdays and Fridays to keep the house clean. Should you prefer complete privacy, please advise the hosts and they will cancel this service. On request, the hosts are happy to arrange a cleaning service at an additional R450 per day to assist with washing, ironing and cleaning. Kindly give them sufficient notice to arrange this service.
Please leave the lid of the gas braai up if you have used it so that they can arrange to have the grid cleaned.
The boma/firepit will be prepared for you on request.
No parties are permitted and the hosts kindly request that you turn loud music off by 23:00.
Pets are welcome and restricted to the front garden.
Kindly note that flat and back garden areas have been allocated to the host and co-owner, Alex, for his and his 2 dogs' personal use.
