Combretum Eco Camp

What an amazing, peaceful place to relax.

We just spent the weekend. What an awesome place to sit relax and just unwind. Edward is a star and makes sure all your needs are catered for. Nothing like sitting around the bush TV at night, listening to nature and staring at the stars. The only noise is nature and occasionally you can hear the roar of the lions. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and go off-grid and get back to basics without the noise of generators. Just stop and start to unwind. What I really enjoyed is the fact that the Camp is off-grid so there are no campers playing loud music, no air conditioners running all night, no campsites looking like Christmas trees with all their lights on. I cannot wait to go back after the rains have started due to the bush being very dry and in need of serious rain. The only reason I give the place 3 stars for value for money is due to it being off-grid and you can camp at a place with power at the same price or less.

Lekker Bosveld kuier.

Ons het 'n baie lekker gekamp by Combretum. Ons is baie vriendelik ontvang. Die hout wat te koop is van puik gehalte. Die stilte was baie lekker en die 3 staanplekke per kamp verseker privaatheid mits jy al drie boek natuurlik. Al deel mens 'n kamp met vreemdelinge, is die staanplekke nie op mekaar nie. Die kamp het baie spasie. Die donkies werk baie goed om warm water te verskaf. Die braaiplek en donkies word elke oggend skoongemaak.
