Instead of TVs with a specific choice of channels in each room, we decided to provide a strong WiFi connection (indoor/outdoor, fibre-based) so all guests can stream their preferred program/app on their personal device - wherever and whenever they like.

The Darling Lodge Guest House provides 4 off-street parking spaces and ample street parking right in front of the house (we also park our private car in the street). In over 10 years, we haven't witnessed any issues with damage or theft, thanks to the local neighbourhood watch, including surveillance cameras and armed security patrols (as a general rule, nothing of value should be left visible in the car).

We are very sorry to read that the breakfast - full English cooked breakfast plus buffet with fresh fruit salad, cheese platter, 3 sorts of cereals, a variety of yoghurts, sweets, toast, tea, fresh grinded coffee, fruit juice, almonds, prunes, dates - was a disappointment.
It is our room-standard to offer all guests a free bottle (500ml) of still water plus rusks, tea, coffee and a sweet treat. All our guests booked in Standard are very welcome to use the shared fridge in our guest lounge.
We do appreciate your valued feedback and will add your advise to our "to deal with and think about" list.
