De Herberg is an authentic countryside guest house. It is a home away from home and is situated on the N17 route in Bethal, Mpumalanga. Bethal is an almost halfway stop between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal or even Swaziland.

Whether you're a business traveller, a trade traveller, travelling for holiday or the proud parents of an upcoming sports star, we offer great overnight accommodation.

De Herberg is a clean, neat and no-frills guest house with very affordable rates. We are close to the high schools, primary schools and also walking distance from the shops, restaurants and a private swimming pool.

Each of the 7 rooms has its own character and feel. It's equipped with en-suite bathroom with basin, toilet and shower. One of the rooms has a bath instead of a shower. All the metal furniture in the house has tastefully been made by the owner. Every room boasts a coffee tray or corner with coffee and tea, where guests can help themselves. For entertainment, every room has a remote controlled television with three open TV channels plus Wi-Fi.

While no smoking is allowed in the rooms, the four outside rooms all have access to the smoking area. The property is protected by a fence and each guest will be given a remote for the gate, we also have enough safe parking available.
