De Kruis is nestled at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains in the Kruis River Valley, conveniently situated between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp, approximately 20km from the R62. This location serves as an ideal base for exploring surrounding wine farms, the Cango Caves, and other attractions in the area. It is particularly popular among cycling enthusiasts.

Two guest cottages are available, each offering stunning views from their comfortable verandas. Both cottages are fully equipped for self-catering, featuring a fridge-freezer, microwave, two-plate gas stove, kettle, toaster, and necessary utensils. Both cottages offer Wi-Fi access, and the property operates solely on solar power, ensuring no interruptions due to load shedding.

Each cottage also has a wood-burning stove for chilly winter evenings. Bedding and towels are provided, and guests are welcomed with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and delicious homemade rusks. Braai facilities with grid and tongs are available, with wood provided.

De Kruis is an ideal starting point for exploring the charming surrounding area, including wine estates, the Cango Caves, and other local attractions.

Covered parking is provided for one vehicle per cottage.
