Die Dorphuis

Rustig, kalm, vreedsaam.

Baie lekker gebly! Ons was mal oor die plekkie, wens ons kon langer bly!

Gerieflik, stylvol en gemaklik.

Ons het slegs een aand by die Dorphuis oorgebly, en sal graag weer bespreek. Die plekkie is baie gerieflik en stylvol ingerig, met alles wat jy kan nodig kry. Die gastegeskenkie van Darling toffies, beskuit en gebottelde water was ook 'n baie spesiale verrassing!

Comfortable stay away from home.

It was great - modern, clean, simple, and easy to find and ideally situated. Everything one needed for a night or two stay was supplied. Comfortable home away from home with a small lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with only a shower, etc. Towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and some sweeteners - all supplied. Definitely be back again. WiFi available but did not get the password.

Lekker, maar bly daar alleen.

Als in as sal ek sê 6/10. Hoekom: die voordeur se blind is glad nie privaat nie! Enige iemand kan in die akkommodasie in kyk. Die mat op die vloer in die slaapkamer verhoed jou om die badkamerdeur oop te maak. Die deur moet van die vloer af ten minste 2 cm gesny word om dit te kan oopmaak sonder om die mat op te tel. Die bed is nie vir twee mense nie; hy is ontsettend sag en jy kan nie gemaklik slaap as twee nie. Ek het op die sofa geslaap sodat my vrou kon slaap. Anders is die akkommodasie baie goed en as ek alleen weer in Darling moet besigheid doen, sal ek daar bly.

Clean, crisp and fresh. Everything you need is available.

The location is quite easy to find. The place was in immaculate condition; crisp, clean and fresh. Loved the Egyptian cotton towels. My only downfall was the stairs, especially for someone over 60. I still enjoyed my stay despite that.

It was a fantastic getaway!

It was a wonderful stay; it had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to several places.

Neat, cozy and great value for money.

We had a lovely weekend stay at this clean, neat and very nice little apartment. It is nicely situated close to restaurants and in a very quiet area. The stairs can be steep so be warned, but it's not a deal breaker. The host went out of her way to supply us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this for any couple or solo travellers, but definitely not recommended for older people due to steep stairs.

Nice, new and clean - good location.

Nicely renovated, everything is new. Spacious - you could stay comfortably for a longer period. Warm in Feb (no aircon) - but so is the whole town. Has a decent fan which also has a misting function. Very fancy gas braai. Microwave. Has just about everything you need (except a bread knife). Location is within 30m of the shops and restaurants on the main road. That could be good or bad depending on what you're after. There is a restaurant next door that has live music on the weekends, but we didn't find it a problem - not too loud.

A lovely, comfortable stay - certainly to be recommended!

What a lovely space, thoughtfully decorated, and with everything a person or couple needs for a day or three. With lovely little luxuries and excellent coffee to make it really special! My only concern was the rather steep steps to the unit (I suggest it is mentioned in the description) and that the shutters could not be kept open when the wind blew. The fan created welcome white noise to drown out any traffic or neighbourly noises.

Lekker en gemaklik gebly.

Gemaklik en goed geleë. Veiligheid van voertuig 'n probleem aangesien daar geen hekke is wat gesluit kan word nie. Die gebou word ook gedeel met besighede, baie voetverkeer.

It was a great stay, near all the necessary shops and very peaceful.

The stay was amazing, the location and views were outstanding. Definitely will be a location to visit again soon in the near future.
