For the parking at Dolphin Cottage, you may need a car with some ground clearance. I struggled to get in and out of the parking bay with my sedan. Everything else is exceptional. Superb. 9/10 would recommend.

Volledig toegeruste kombuis. Cottage is skoon en netjies. Braai en kuierplek is uit die wind uit. Jy kan steeds die see en branders sien en hoor, tenspyte van die weer. Beslis die moeite werd!

Breathtaking views! We thought that all our needs were thoughtfully catered for, with extra personal and homely welcome touches. The practical layout of the unit allows for maximum enjoyment of sea and star views at the top storey living space, while feeling very private in the bedrooms at the lower level (still boasting window sea views). Occasionally felt no privacy at night in the kitchen, due to no curtains there.

A fantastic place to stay.

Our landlord was extremely helpful when we phoned with questions and even suggested that we stop at Bay View Restaurant when we arrived the first night after a long drive. We were delighted with the cottage. It was exactly as it is pictured except for a rather elderly Weber on the deck with the table and chairs. The deck at the back of the house is great. It is sheltered from the wind, there is a serving hatch from the kitchen onto the deck and it will be wonderful and cool on hot summer days. The kitchen is bright and clean and there is plenty of crockery, cutlery and cookware plus a dishwasher and a washing machine. We didn't use either but if you intended to, you would need to make sure you took the correct soaps along. The lounge dining room is spacious and comfortable. There is a bookshelf with a selection of books and a cupboard with games and puzzles for rainy days. The bedrooms are exactly as pictured, light and airy, with a view of the sea although the view was better upstairs from the living area. The beds were comfortable and had adequate blankets. The cupboards in the bedroom were beautiful and had plenty of space for clothes to be unpacked. We will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Cottage. The views and the sunrises were amazing. The cottage is well equipped. We would definitely choose Dolphin Cottage again.

The host was very accommodating and sent the load shedding schedule. They even provided updates on the power outages in the area.

Luxurious and beautiful.

The view from the cottage was amazing - lots of whale watching right from the balcony. Bonnie, our host, was so accommodating and helpful. Thank you Bonnie. You made us feel so welcome and at home. Location of the cottage was just perfect and only a short walk to the start of the cliff trails. View from the Cliffs are absolutely breathtaking. The locals are so friendly. Definitely make a plan to go have a drink or even better a meal at The Deck. Will definitely be back. Thank you again.

The views of the ocean were exactly what we wanted.

This house is so very close to the ocean which gives it amazing views. You can also hear the sound of the waves. Communication was excellent, space was plenty. We hope to return for a longer stay one day.

Very pleasant despite the wind blowing dust and leaves into the house. A broom and dustpan would be an advantage to sweep up dust and leaves accumulating at the front door. It was dirty when we arrived and we had to use the inside broom to clean. The outside dustbin was full and smelly. A shower curtain in the small bathroom would be great. However, there was no mouldy smell in the house and cupboards as with many coastal houses.
