House Rules
The property makes use of a solar supply, so please use electricity very sparingly to avoid the batteries running out.
Please use items such as the dishwasher during daylight hours and also don't use multiple appliances at once as the supply will trip.
Each unit is equipped with a fireplace and a bundle of wood. Additional wood may be purchased per bag and settled via EFT.
Bring your own bag of charcoal along.
The water is pumped from a borehole and is safe to drink - should there be no water, please let us know.
There is a chance that water pipes may freeze during the night in winter months, please bear with us as this is beyond our control.
Please keep the gates to the river and farm closed at all times to keep cattle and horses out.
Cell reception is limited to roaming, however, should you need to access WhatsApp, please stand on the stoep at the old shed for the River Lodge.
Access to the Mill is restricted. Please steer clear of the sluices and turbines.
