The cottage was well located for my needs and nicely appointed.

Doris Cottage was a lovely experience. So clean and comfortable, beautiful garden setting and close to everything and everywhere we needed to visit. Highly recommended.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in. The cottage size is perfect.

My parents stayed there en route to their grandson's wedding.

Meryl was a very kind and accommodating host. She saved my 85 year old parents a trip into the unknown and bought them the yogurt they needed. She also made space for my car behind the security gate when we popped in to visit them. We sat outside in the little private garden with the iceberg rose in bloom. Most pleasant! The location of the cottage is a mere 6 min drive from Kirstenbosch. Ideal for my plant- and birdloving parents. Elderly, unstable persons who cannot see well should be extra vigilant of the step. I would definitely recommend Doris Cottage.

We had a very comfortable stay. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The owner was very attentive and made us feel at home. The property is very central and was easy to get around. We will definitely stay there again and recommend Doris Cottage to our friends and family.
