Description

Located on the banks of the Tugela River with direct access to the river and beach, Driftwood Chalets offers a relaxing retreat in the quaint seaside village of Tugela Mouth.

The resort offers guests a choice of self-catering units that can accommodate between 2 to 10 people depending on guests needs. The units are furnished with double beds, single beds, or bunk beds, and have private bathrooms with baths or showers, and toilets.

Each unit has a kitchen that is fully equipped with a stove, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and dishcloths are provided. Guests can relax in the lounge which is fitted with a TV and free Wi-Fi access. Selected DStv channels are available in some of the units.

Private braai areas are provided, and secure parking is available.

Attractions and activities in the area for guests to enjoy include Tugela Lighthouse, Harold Johnson Nature Reserve, swimming, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, mountain biking and angling.
