Lovely getaway.

Had a lovely weekend. The host was absolutely wonderful, friendly and caring!

Wow, what an amazing stay. Firstly, I would like to say thank you to Carin, who made my partner and I feel so heartfully welcome the moment we arrived. It felt like home away from home. The evening stroll along the beach, having dinner, and watching the sunset from the rooftop was an epic experience. I would really recommend couples to go and explore the adventure of romance at Drop Anchor, filled with love. Highly appreciated.

Pretty awesome!

A diamond in the rough, that pretty much sums up what Drop Anchor is about. The room/ensuite has a quality feel to it, and the seascape decor scheme perfectly complements this experience. It will be booked for our next visit if I say too much. Drop Anchor is well-suited for those with a sense of adventure. The only small issue is the limited WiFi, which isn't a biggie at all. We were well compensated with spectacular sunsets and a sense of serenity. Just keep an eye on the weather app.

Ons het heerlik gekuier en gerus!

Pragtige, gemaklike kamer. Asemrowende uitsig en vriendelike gasvrou wat uit haar pad gaan om jou tuis te laat voel. Ons is mal oor Walkabout, Maggie en Peanut.

Fantastic, safe, nice atmosphere, worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay; it was fantastic to be exact. Even under the rough weather conditions, we had a blast. It's a nice atmosphere to relax and do whatever your heart desires, especially if you need some quality time for yourself or for you and your other half. The host is such a lovely lady and does her best to make your stay even more comfortable. She really made things extra special for us just by being herself. We are most definitely going back. xx.

Little gem.

Carin was such a great host. We really enjoyed our time staying here. We walked on the beach and had coffee on the outside patio, enjoying the surrounding mountain and sea views. This is a little gem and worth the visit. Thank you for your hospitality.

Skoon, netjies en net wat 'n mens nodig het.

Carin het met ons kontak gemaak en mooi verduidelik waar Drop Anchor is, sy het vir ons gewag en baie vriendlik verwelkom. Dit was ons lekkerste agt dae in Gordonsbaai. Dit is naby die Strand en ander plekke. Mens het die mooiste uitsigte vanaf die dek waar jy selfs kan sit en eet of 'n glassie wyn kan drink. Ons sal Drop Anchor vir seker aanbeveel en ons tuiste maak as ons in die Kaap is. Dankie Carin vir jou vriendlikheid. Ek mis elke dag se sonsondergange daar by jou.

Stay was excellent and the host was kind and friendly even though she just came from hospital.

I would highly recommend this slice of heaven.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 days. It was the best time we had in a very long time. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. You are on the beach with amazing 360 views of the mountains. I would highly recommend this slice of heaven. Drop your anchor and make this your home away from home. For us this is now our home away from home.

I enjoyed my stay at Drop Anchor tremendously. Carin is a super friendly host with a beautiful garden and friendly dog. The room was immaculate and the view sublime.

Very relaxing and peaceful.

Was an awesome stay, especially if you want to take a break from the city rush and do nothing. Not even preparing food. Would recommend you take a tablet or laptop in case of bad weather.

Good stay.

Accommodation was good for my needs. No TV in the room, for some it would be necessary. I stayed three nights, was only at the property at night time. Didn't do any sightseeing, so can't comment on that. A hotel and other restaurants were close by for something to eat, just outside of the property.

Baie lekker!

Ons het baie lekker gebly. Sal weer teruggaan. Dit is naby die strand en ander plekke. Die plek is maar net vir slaap en stort. Koffie maak al is daar 'n kombuis, waarde in kan ons net die ketel gebruik het. Daar is nie plek vir kosmaak.
