Very nice.

We had a great experience, and the personnel were very accommodating and friendly.

It was value for money, the rooms are an accurate representation.

The location was safe. Not all of the items were on the inventory list for damages. There was no water the next day. Overall it was value for money.

Reception lady was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and tidy and exactly as portrayed in pictures. Parking is a bit limited, but manageable.

Clean and neat, but especially rooms without windows need an aircon.

Not all the units have aircon as advertised, and we only had SABC 2 and 3. There was no lounge area as advertised. The room was extremely warm and there were no aircon or windows. The swimming pool was very nice, and everything was clean and neat. Please provide a description of the units and the advantages of each unit.

Unsatisfied.

Rooms that I intentionally booked were not what we received. WiFi did not work, and my room did not have an air con, whereas the other room did. Slept very uncomfortably.

Baie teleurgesteld en het so uitgesien daarna.

Daar was geen water nie en die plek het nie eers jojo tenks om as alternatief te help nie. Ons moes self emmers water van die swembad aandra om die toilet te spoel. Hulle het nie eers botteltjies water in die kamers gesit nie. Gaste moet 'n inventaris van die kamer teken met aankoms om te bevestig dat alles daar is en tot ons skok was daar goed wat nie in die kamer was nie. Ons moet R800 deposito betaal en as ons nie een vir een ding gecheck het nie, kan hulle ons deposito gehou het. Swak van hulle. Daar is dubbel beddens in die kamer, maar net een kant het 'n bedside table. Ek moes die stoel vat om vir my 'n tafeltjie te maak. Uiters ongemaklik. As die kamer vir 'n enkel persoon was, sou dit reg wees, maar ons was twee persone in die kamer. Daar is ook verskriklik baie trappe. Dit is glad nie gepas vir mense wat nie kan trappe klim nie.

Very good, just still waiting for my deposit to be paid back after almost two weeks.

Regret booking this accommodation.

Definitely don't book the bachelor room. It's tiny, the lighting is terrible so if you're a woman say goodbye to doing your makeup whatsoever. The water is either piping hot or freezing - no middle comfort. The WiFi didn't work from 10pm onwards. Very tedious check-in of counting cutleries and cups, plates and signing for it.

Dissatisfied.

No aircon and WiFi supplied as described. We are thankful a fan was supplied, else we would have had to leave as there are no windows. We would simply have appreciated being told beforehand instead of being told they had a problem with the WiFi when we asked. Also, no control of noise level.

Very poor place to stay.

• The television is crooked, with exposed wires hanging out from the back - a potential fire hazard! • The lampshade is battered and broken, adding to the overall sense of neglect. • The peeling paint throughout the room screams of dilapidation. It's in desperate need of renovation. • There's a complete lack of professionalism. Forget a proper reception desk; check-in involves scribbling on forms at a makeshift counter in what appears to be a derelict bar. • To top it all off, the main gate's broken motor means you have to wait for someone to manually open it every time you come or go.

Had a fantastic stay.

Rooms were very spacious and neatly kept.

Dit was 'n pragtige plek. Net baie sleg ons kamer het nie lugversorging gehad nie. Ons het baie min geslaap.

Everything you need and comfortable.

They can do something about the air ventilation or install air conditioning. The room was very humid and hot. The rest of the stay we were very happy with.

Almal was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Kamers was toegerus met alles wat jy sou benodig en baie modern. Baie goeie waarde vir geld.

Baie rustig.

Dit was baie lekker daar ek het net 'n probleem gehad met die bed jy kan net hoes dan raas dit. Ek dink dis tyd vir 'n nuwe een, maar bo als was dit baie lekker.

The stay was okay. The place was reasonably quiet. All facilities that were on the ad were there.

I had hoped for air-conditioning instead of a fan. I also would have preferred a room with windows for some fresh air. However, the stay was okay for a low budget accommodation.

Dit is raserig met mense wat permanent daar bly. Klank weergalm baie en mens kan mense oorkant jou hoor selfs met vensters toe.

Ligging is goed vir besigheid in en rondom Sandton-area. Veilig en skoon.

DStv not working, you have to wait at the gate.

Disappointing stay at Forest Sandown.

Check in was a lengthy process. A security/breakage deposit was required upon check in, and was not stated on the website or upon reservation booking. Aircon and TV was not in working order. Had to be moved to a different room. Poor WiFi and reception. I will not recommend accommodation at Forest Sandown.

I had a excellent stay except for the delay on checking in early that I arrange that was a bit of a problem. Otherwise I had a lovely stay.

Terrible customer service.

We didn't like the way we were treated, from the moment we got there had to check everything to ensure nothing was out of order and that we would be held liable for any breakages we didn’t cause. On departure we waited a good thirty minutes for them to inspect the apartment to ensure we didn’t steal or break anything. This didn't make us feel very welcome as guests. Not happy with the service.

Kon niks slaap. Lig van portaal skyn in kamer in en baie geraas tot 11 uur in die nag. Kamer baie klein. Ontvangs diens was onprofessioneel gewees.

Klein en basies.

Baie klein en basies met geen DStv.

Geen waarde vir geld.

Kamers is klein. Ontbyt word net van 8 to 10 bedien. Moet al 6 uur ry om by werk te wees. Sekere kamers het nie eers DStv nie. Ek moes opgradeer na 'n ander kamer en daar was net selected channels. Stortkop is okay as jy 1.6 m lank is. Baie laag! Parkering was 'n probleem. Sal nooit weer daar bly nie. 0 uit 5. Baie swak, lyk fantasties op website. Maar nie die moeite werd nie. Vir R400 'n aand minder kan ek baie beter plekke kry.

I want to come again for my anniversary.

Excellent place, service was on point. Great place to get away from all the corporate noise.

Die plek was baie netjies gewees. Ons het baie veilig gevoel.

Ons sal nie weer van die plek gebruik maak nie.

Die kamer was netjies, maar baie bedompig met geen lugreëling of waaier nie. Ons het ongemaklik geslaap. Die trappe na die kamer is klein spiraaltrappe wat jy sukkel om jou bagasie af te dra.

Net een nag oorgeslaap.
