Description

Elandskloof Trout Farm offers self-catering accommodation on a tranquil trout farm outside the small town of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga. The farm features seven dams where guests can fish for trout. Only fly fishing is allowed.

The accommodation includes the farmhouse, seven rondavels, six thatched cottages, two apartments, a wooden cottage, four Trout Lane cottages, and the Kingfisher House. Each unit is well-equipped and features an open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, and a braai area. However, the rondavels do not have private bathrooms, and guests must use the communal bathrooms. The rondavels also do not have fireplaces.

An indoor heated pool, heated only on weekends and during off-peak times, and a Jacuzzi are available.

Guests can enjoy fly fishing for trout only, birdwatching, game viewing, hiking, and mountain biking on the farm.
There is a restaurant on-site, but please enquire in advance, as private functions are sometimes hosted there, and it may not always be available.

There is limited mobile signal on the premises and no WiFi. The units also do not have TVs.

Check-in is from 2 PM. During peak season, on public holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays, check-in is from 4 PM.
