Elandsvlei Estate Luxury Tent

Could not have picked a better spot than the luxury tent.

Took my wife there for our 50th wedding anniversary (stayed for 5 days), best decision ever. Very private and secluded. The most perfect location ever. Very friendly reception from our host Nicolas. A few hiccups with solar power due to weather, but Margaux littery went out of her way to accommodate us. Nowhere else did we find such friendliness and assistants like this at Elandsvlei.

Stunning farm for peaceful breakaway.

The farm is in a beautiful area, dams, grasslands, ravines and forest. Plentiful game and huge variety of birds. We stayed in the luxury tent and it was clean and well appointed, and hugely private, a good 3 km from anyone. It is off the grid but the solar and batteries do struggle to charge when the weather is bad. Hiring the Kawasaki or Polaris is excellent fun and allows you to really explore the farm and have an amazing private game and bird viewing experience. I would certainly recommend a stay at Elandsvlei.

Wonderlike rustige atmosfeer in die hart van die bosveld.

Uitstekende ligging. Vat 4x4. Dit was pragtig.

Lekker privaat ligging. Die natuur is pragtig. Ons het die rustigheid geniet.

Ons het heerlik ontspan en in die dam geswem. Die hitte was ondraaglik en geen waaier of lugversorger in die tent nie, maar dit is verstaanbaar omdat daar geen krag is nie. Ons het dit geniet en sal beslis die plek aanbeveel.

Nicolas was helpful and accommodating. The property is well-maintained and peaceful. You are one with nature when staying at this property. We will definitely book again.

Pragtige plek, skoon netjies 'n regte gem. Sal beslis weer vakansie daar hou.

Die plek is selfs mooier as die foto's. Privaat, skoon, netjies en maak voorsiening vir als wat jy nodig het.

Asemrowende uitsig, baie privaat, heelwat wild om te besigtig.

Die tentkamp is perfek geleë met 'n asemrowende uitsig oor die plaas en dam. Ons het 'n Polaris 4x4 voertuig gehuur en die hele plaas verken. Baie wild aanskou soos wildebeeste, kameelperde, blouwildebeeste, gemsbokke, rooihartbeeste, elande en rooibokke. Sal defintief weer soontoe gaan.

Peace & quiet!

It's even prettier than the pictures. Very neat, fully equipped tent. We enjoyed our stay in peace and quiet. No one around us. Loved it!

Rustig en privaat.

Baie mooi omgewing. Mooi paaie om te ry met volop wild. Baie lekker voëlkyk. Groot plaas waar mens paar dae kan spandeer om alles te ontdek.

Had a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. The location is beautiful and very private and secluded. Although off the grid, we had ample hot water and more than sufficient lighting. Beautiful, healthy game all round the farm. Will definitely visit again.

Ontspanne wegbreek.

Ons is hartlik ontvang. Die ligging is onverbeterlik. Die plekkie is goed toerus, baie skoon en netjies en heel luuks. Ons het heerlik gestap, rondgery en in die strome en damme geswem en afgekoel. Wat 'n wonderlike plek om by te kon afskakel en ontspan. Beslis 'n plek om weer te besoek.

Pragtige plek, baie goed beplan vir privaatheid en rustigheid - ons het elke oomblik geniet!

A real gem in the bush, fully enjoyed our stay.

A truly amazing spot, any travel fatigue wore off very quickly on arrival as you are fully immersed in nature.

The tent is the perfect place for a weekend retreat. The farm is breath-taking and the hospitality is superb!

We spent 4 days enjoying long hikes, bird life and cycling in the beautiful surroundings. Accommodation was immaculate with attention to detail. Would certainly recommend to anybody.

Baie lekker gekuier.

Puik ligging. Baie lekker plek. Na tweede dag se reën het sonkrag geyser nie meer water warm gemaak nie - jammer.

Baie romantiese wegbreek. Was een van die mooiste plekke wat ek al ooit by was.

Hierdie plekkie is weggesteek diep op die plaas. Baie privaat. Ons het dit regtig baie geniet en sal dit enige tyd aanbeveel vir 'n paartjie wat net wil gaan "sielsrus" soek.

Exceeded all expectations, the most romantic getaway ever!

Beautiful accommodation with attention to detail and extremely well catered for. The farm is incredibly beautiful and game viewing is superb. Hosts are wonderful.

Perfect escape.

Beautiful, very well equipped kitchen, bathroom, tent and verandah. Even though no electricity, the battery lights did the trick. We loved sitting under the ficus tree watching the birds eat the fruit. Wide variety of game, spotted while hiking or driving. Lovely rock formations at the top near the MTN tower and the most beautiful trees. We will definitely go again.
