Much of the charm of Etendeka lies in its tranquil wilderness setting and may therefore not always be appreciated by all children. It is in a condition therefore that adults accompanying children take full responsibility for the conduct and safety of their children.
Children between the age of 8 and 12 years, sharing a tent with 2 full paying adults, pay 50% of the quoted adult tariff
Children 8 years and under: we regret that the camp is not suitable for children under 8 years of age.
Rates displayed are on a full board basis and includes, accommodation in environmentally friendly Meru tents, breakfast, lunch and dinner, afternoon tea and coffee, all activities, such as guided nature walks and nature drives, and scenic shuttles to and from the pick-up point (Palmwag Lodge Campsite parking or the Etendeka Mountain Camp airstrip or the Palmwag airstrip).
All drinks are excluded and must be settled at Etendeka Mountain Camp upon check-out.
Etendeka Lodge Company is a joint venture agreement with the Omatendeka and Anabeb Communal Conservancies. This enterprise is committed to protecting the native and often endangered fauna and flora of the region and to helping drive economic development for the community. The conservation charge of NAD 250.00 per person per night has been introduced to support these efforts. This conservation fee is not included in the rate and must be paid directly at the Etendeka Mountain Camp upon check-out. (For children 8 to 12 years the custody charge is NAD 125.00 per child per night).
