Die Tenkkamer is the farm's old milk tank room which has been converted into a beautiful self-catering unit. This was where the milk tank stood when the farm was still a dairy farm - these days Excelsior is largely a sheep farm. This self-catering unit is able to accommodate 2 people and contains a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower; and a kitchenette.

The Enjinkamer comes from the time before Eskom. This is where the engine stood that generated the farm's power - the cement slab in the kitchenette is the remnant of the engine's pedestal.
